Some Fractal Properties of Sets Having the Moran Structure

open access: yesTatra Mountains Mathematical Publications, 2022
Abstract This article is devoted to sets having the Moran structure. The main attention is given to topological, metric, and fractal properties of certain sets whose elements have restrictions on using digits or combinations of digits in own representations.

On the equivalence of multifractal measures on Moran sets

open access: yesFilomat, 2022
In this paper, the equivalence of the multifractal centered Hausdorff measure and the multifractal packing measure is investigated. Furthermore, for the Moran sets satisfying the strong separation condition, the equivalence of the mutual multifractal Hausdorff and packing measures is discussed.

SpaMode: A Broadly Applicable Framework for Deciphering Spatial Multi‐Omics Using Multimodal Mixture of Disentangled Experts

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
SpaMode introduces a versatile framework for spatial multi‐omics integration across vertical, horizontal, and mosaic scenarios. By disentangling modality‐invariant and variant features through a mixture‐of‐experts mechanism, it adaptively reconfigures spatially heterogeneous signals.

Secondary analysis and literature review of community rehabilitation and intermediate care: an information resource

open access: yesHealth Services and Delivery Research, 2015
Background and design: This research was based on a reanalysis of a merged data set from two intermediate care (IC) projects in order to identify patient characteristics associated with outcomes [Nancarrow SA, Enderby PM, Moran AM, Dixon S, Parker SG ...

Tree-valued Fleming-Viot dynamics with mutation and selection

open access: yes, 2012
The Fleming-Viot measure-valued diffusion is a Markov process describing the evolution of (allelic) types under mutation, selection and random reproduction.

Climate Change Mitigation in the Dairy Sector: Uncovering Heterogeneity Through Eco‐Efficiency Clubs

open access: yesAgribusiness, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Combining climate change goals with economic targets is crucial for the dairy sector, which is a significant contributor to agricultural greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions worldwide. In this paper, we assess economic and climate change implications of dairy production with panel data of Irish dairy farms from 2013 to 2021.

A Novel Smart Molecular Fuzzy Decision Support System for Solid-State Battery Investments in Grid-Level Renewable Energy Storage

open access: yesIEEE Access
It is very necessary to determine the most critical indicators to improve the performance of solid-state battery investments. Although there are many factors affecting these investments in the literature, there is no consensus on the most important ...

A class of measures and non-stationary fractals, associated to f-expansions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
We construct first a class of Moran fractals in R^d with countably many generators and non-stationary contraction rates; at each step n, the contractions depend on n-truncated sequences, and are related to asymptotic letter frequencies. In some cases the

Growth of Omnichannel Grocery Retailing and Food Prices

open access: yesAgribusiness, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This paper examines the effects of the growth of omnichannel grocery retailing on food prices. We first develop a conceptual model of consumer choice and retailer pricing that allows us to evaluate changes in equilibrium prices, quantities, and profits with online channel growth and alternative pricing strategies.

Enhancing circular economy project outcomes via molecular fuzzy-based decision support system

open access: yesAin Shams Engineering Journal
The most important criteria for increasing the performance of circular economy projects should be identified. Otherwise, companies can make wrong investment decisions that lead to high operational costs.
