ABSTRACT Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are the oldest living custodians in the world. However, Australian identity has been purposefully established to exclude Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, contributing to systemic oppression and harmful consequences. Understanding the perspectives and experiences of Aboriginal and Torres

Better Nonlinear Models from Noisy Data: Attractors with Maximum Likelihood
A new approach to nonlinear modelling is presented which, by incorporating the global behaviour of the model, lifts shortcomings of both least squares and total least squares parameter estimates.

Abstract Despite documented ecomorphological shifts toward an herbivorous diet in several coelurosaurian lineages, the evolutionary tempo and mode of these changes remain poorly understood, hampered by sparse cranial materials for early representatives of major clades. This is particularly true for Therizinosauria, with representative crania best known

On constructions preserving the asymptotic topology of metric spaces [PDF]
We prove that graph products constructed over infinite graphs with bounded clique number preserve finite asymptotic dimension. We also study the extent to which Dranishnikov's property C, and Dranishnikov and Zarichnyi's straight finite decomposition ...

Abstract This editorial commentary reflects on the evolving field of hip arthroscopy in the elite athlete and the growing recognition that return‐to‐sport outcomes cannot be captured by a “one‐size‐fits‐all” percentage. The heterogeneity we see in return‐to‐sport rates is not a flaw, but an authentic reflection of the athletes who we treat.

Abstract Recurrent lateral patellar instability poses a technical challenge to orthopaedic surgeons. Isolated soft‐tissue procedures through medial patellofemoral ligament reconstruction or lateral release show unacceptably high failure rates. Lateral opening wedge distal femoral osteotomy addresses underlying bony malalignment and reinforces the soft ...

Generalized Moran sets Generated by Step-wise Adjustable Iterated Function Systems
In this article we provide a systematic way of creating generalized Moran sets using an analogous iterated function system (IFS) procedure. We use a step-wise adjustable IFS to introduce some variance (such as non-self-similarity) in the fractal limit ...

Creating space(s) for learning in prison: Developing an andragogical framework
Abstract Learning in prison is too often excluded from wider discussions of educational experiences, processes and impact. This paper proposes, for the first time, an iterative andragogical framework to conceptualise learning spaces within prison contexts.

Abstract Young people in the United States (and beyond) access spaces for activism in varied ways, including the out‐of‐school time sector, where youth activism (YA) groups draw on informal learning pedagogies to engage young people in collective action.
