Impact of Controlling the Site Distribution of Al Atoms on Catalytic Properties in Ferrierite-Type Zeolites [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Zeolites with the ferrierite (FER) topology are synthesized using a combination of tetramethylammonium (TMA) cations with differently sized cyclic amines (pyrrolidine (Pyr), hexamethyleneimine (HMI), and 1,4- diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane (DAB)).

Modulation of the Acidity of HY, HBETA, and HZSM‐5 Zeolites by Lanthanum Incorporation for Selective Gasoline Desulfurization in the FCC Riser

open access: yesChemCatChem, Volume 17, Issue 21, November 10, 2025.
Desulfurization in the FCC riser is achieved by modifying zeolite catalysts with La3+ ions, promoting H2S formation from thiophenic compounds while suppressing secondary reactions. This approach enhances gasoline quality by increasing selectivity for H2S and enabling efficient condensation and alkylation, supporting cleaner fuel production and ...

Machine Learning–Enhanced Fischer–Tropsch Synthesis: Optimizing Catalysts and Process Conditions for Efficient Fuel Production

open access: yesChemie Ingenieur Technik, Volume 97, Issue 11-12, Page 1085-1093, November 2025.
In this work, a machine learning framework is used to model and optimize the performance of metal/zeolite catalysts in FTS for liquid fuel production. CatBoost model showed high accuracy in predicting performance. Multi‐objective optimization identified the optimum operating conditions and catalyst formulation.

Kinetics and Mechanism of Ammonium Ion Adsorption Using Natural Zeolite - Mordenite [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
Mordenite, one of the natural zeolites , has the capacity to remove ammonium ion from wastewaters through adsorption phenomenon. This study is a preliminary work of using mordenite to remove ammonium in effluent for tertiary treatment. The feasibility

Zeolite deposits of possible economic significance on the northern Alaska Peninsula [PDF]

open access: yes, 1982
Clinoptilolite, mordenite, haulandite and laumontite have been identified in possible economic concentrations on the Alaska Peninsula. Most important are 1) a haulandite bearing water-laid tuff on Agate Island, 2) a thick sequence of terrestrial ...

Interaction between zeolites and cluster compounds. Part 1.—Adsorption of iron pentacarbonyl on zeolites [PDF]

open access: yes, 1983
The adsorption isotherms of Fe(CO)5 on NaY, HY and Linde L zeolites obtained in McBain balances show micropore adsorption, whereas additional capillary condensation is found with zeolite omega and Na-mordenite.

Studies of Modification of Zeolite by Tandem Acid-Base Treatments and Its Adsorptions Performance Towards Thorium [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Hierarchical zeolite was prepared from natural zeolite using tandem acid-base treatments and applied as adsorbent for Th(IV) removal. Natural zeolite occurred naturally as microporous material.
