Neonatal morphometric indices of fetal growth: analysis of observer variability

Measurements of triceps and subscapular skinfold thickness, mid-arm circumference (MAC), head circumference (HC) and crown-heel length were performed by two observers in 30 healthy neonates. Intra-observer standard deviation for all measurements, calculated using one-way analysis of variance, was small and similar for each observer.

The article presents the results of the study of 17 sublines of VK 23-imi, as well as hybrid combinations with their participation. Over two years of research, stability in plant height was found in the lines VK 23-imi/3, VK 23-imi/14 and VK 23-imi/11, the latter also showed the same result in the head diameter.

The accuracy of the morphometric indices Fulton's K, somatic K and relative condition factor, Kn, as measures of individual North Sea herring Clupea harengus muscle fat content was investigated using the Distell Fish Fat meter.
