Performance analysis of Thue Morse acoustic resonators for noise reduction

open access: yesScientific Reports
This article explores acoustic band gap in the Thue-Morse phononic crystal structures for application in acoustic filtering. By using the unique nature of Thue-Morse sequences, we systematically analyze transmission spectra over many generations of ...

Solutions of Schr\"odinger Equation with Generalized Inverted Hyperbolic Potential

open access: yes, 2011
We present the bound state solutions of the Schr\"odinger equation with generalized inverted hyperbolic potential using the Nikiforov-Uvarov method. We obtain the energy spectrum and the wave function with this potential for arbitrary - state.

QUANTUM INFORMATION ENTROPIES OF THE EIGENSTATES OF THE MORSE POTENTIAL

open access: yesInternational Journal of Modern Physics B, 2008
The position and momentum space information entropies for the Morse potential are numerically obtained for different strengths of the potential. It is found to satisfy the bound obtained by Beckner, Bialynicki-Birula, and Mycielski. Interesting features of the entropy densities are graphically demonstrated.

Strategies and Process of Trade Secret Misappropriation Mitigation: The Case of UK

open access: yesStrategic Change, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Trade Secrets (TS) are vital for innovation‐driven companies, and their loss can inflict significant financial and reputational damage, particularly in the absence of established policies to mitigate misappropriation in the UK. The current academic literature lacks detailed strategies for firms to effectively address these threats.

Dirac equation exact solutions for generalized asymmetrical Hartmann potentials

open access: yes, 2006
In this work we solve the Dirac equation by constructing the exact bound state solutions for a mixing of vector and scalar generalized Hartmann potentials. This is done provided the vector potential is equal to or minus the scalar potential. The cases of

Corporate Psychopaths as Risk Factors: The Role of Managerial Control and Competition for Risk Governance

open access: yesStrategic Change, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The increasing prevalence of corporate scandals and dysfunction linked to psychopathic leaders has prompted significant research into the drivers and effects of psychopathy in business. This paper examines corporate psychopathy, focusing on individuals with extreme selfishness, callousness, and manipulative behavior who often achieve ...

Exact Solutions of the Morse-like Potential, Step-Up and Step-Down Operators via Laplace Transform Approach

open access: yes, 2012
We intend to realize the step-up and step-down operators of the potential $V(x)=V_{1}e^{2\beta x}+V_{2}e^{\beta x}$. It is found that these operators satisfy the commutation relations for the SU(2) group. We find the eigenfunctions and the eigenvalues of

A Note on Sobolev‐Lorentz Capacity and Hausdorff Measure

open access: yesMathematische Nachrichten, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In this paper, we give an elementary proof that sets of zero p,1$p,1$‐Sobolev‐Lorentz capacity are Hn−p$\mathcal {H}^{n-p}$‐null sets, independently of nonlinear potential theory. We further show that there exists a set of Sobolev‐Lorentz‐(p,1)$(p,1)$ capacity equal to zero with Hausdorff dimension equal n−p$n-p$.

Relativistic treatment of the Hellmann-generalized morse potential

open access: yesRevista Mexicana de Física, 2019
We present the relativistic treatment of the Hellmann-generalized Morse potential using Nikiforov-Uvarov(NU) method. The relativistic equations(Klein-Gordon and Dirac equation) were solved using the conventional NU method. In order to overcome the centrifugal barrier, we employed the  well-known Greene and Aldrich approximation scheme.
