Production of near the thresholds in annihilation
It is shown that the nontrivial energy dependencies of DD¯, DD¯*, and D*D¯* pair production cross sections in e+e− annihilation are well described within the approach based on an account of the final-state interaction of produced particles. This statement is valid for the production of charged and neutral particles.

Using a convolutive field-theoretic product, it is shown here that the “square” of an Abelian D=6, N=(2,0) theory yields the free D=6, N=(4,0) theory constructed by Hull, together with its generalized (super)gauge transformations. This offers a new perspective on the (4,0) theory and chiral theories of conformal gravity more generally, while at the ...

Tensor form factor of and decays with twisted-mass fermions
We present the first lattice Nf=2+1+1 determination of the tensor form factor fTDπ(K)(q2) corresponding to the semileptonic D→π(K)ℓνℓ and rare D→π(K)ℓℓ decays as a function of the squared four-momentum transfer q2. Together with our recent determination of the vector f+Dπ(K)(q2) and scalar f0Dπ(K)(q2) form factors, we complete the set of hadronic ...

Motivated by the Belle Collaboration’s new observation of Y(4626), we investigate the possibility of its configuration as a P-wave [cs][c¯s¯] tetraquark state from QCD sum rules. Eventually, the extracted mass 4.60−0.19+0.13 GeV for the P-wave cs-scalar-diquark c¯s¯-scalar-antidiquark state agrees well with the experimental data of Y(4626), which ...

CAG-repeat expansions underlie fatal neurodegenerative disorders. In a lodestar study published in a recent issue of Nature, Sun et al.1 identify a writer and eraser of N1-methyladenosine (m1A) modifications of CAG-repeat RNA. They establish that m1A modifications in CAG-repeat expanded RNA promote neurodegeneration and aberrant phase transitions of ...

Measurement of lepton universality parameters in and decays
2023A simultaneous analysis of the B+→K+ℓ+ℓ- and B0→K*0ℓ+ℓ- decays is performed to test muon-electron universality in two ranges of the square of the dilepton invariant mass, q2. The measurement uses a sample of beauty meson decays produced in proton-proton collisions collected with the LHCb detector between 2011 and 2018, corresponding to an integrated ...
