The Globular Cluster Populations of Giant Galaxies: Mosaic Imaging of Five Moderate-Luminosity Early-Type Galaxies [PDF]
This paper presents results from wide-field imaging of the globular cluster (GC) systems of five intermediate-luminosity (M_V ~-21 to -22) early-type galaxies.

ABSTRACT This study examines food price inflation rate convergence among EU27 Member States from 2005 to 2024, focusing on structural breaks, external shocks, and regional disparities. Using panel unit root tests and club convergence analysis, the findings reveal no overall convergence but identify multiple convergence clubs.

Caging and mosaic lengthscales in plaquette spin models of glasses
We consider two systems of Ising spins with plaquette interactions. They are simple models of glasses which have dual representations as kinetically constrained systems.

Clustered Star Formation in W75 N [PDF]
We present 2" to 7" resolution 3 mm continuum and CO(J=1-0) line emission and near infrared Ks, H2, and [FeII] images toward the massive star forming region W75 N. The CO emission uncovers a complex morphology of multiple, overlapping outflows.

The Geography of Success: A Spatial Analysis of Export Intensity in the Italian Wine Industry
ABSTRACT This paper investigates the paradox of how Italy's fragmented, SME‐dominated wine industry achieves global export success. Moving beyond purely firm‐centric explanations, we test whether export intensity is spatially dependent, clustering geographically in regional ecosystems.

This study integrates random matrix theory (RMT) and principal component analysis (PCA) to improve the identification of correlated regions in HIV protein sequences for vaccine design. PCA validation enhances the reliability of RMT‐derived correlations, particularly in small‐sample, high‐dimensional datasets, enabling more accurate detection of ...

ABSTRACT Hypersensitivity pneumonitis (HP) is an immune‐mediated interstitial lung disease triggered by repeated inhalation of organic or chemical antigens. Occupational exposures account for approximately 19% of all cases. Early diagnosis, identification of the responsible antigen(s), and immediate avoidance of exposure are crucial to prevent ...
