Imaging of Biphoton States: Fundamentals and Applications
Quantum states of two photons exhibit a rich polarization and spatial structure, which provides a fundamental resource of strongly correlated and entangled states. This review analyzes the physics of these intriguing properties and explores the various techniques and technologies available to measure them, including the state of the art of their ...

Comparison of Blur Edge Time and Gaussian Edge Time as measures of motion blur [PDF]
International audienceBlur Edge Time has been shown to be a reasonable metric for characterisation of motion blur of LCD displays. It can be estimated by taking the 10% to 90% level of the Moving Edge Temporal Profile or by using the standard deviation ...

This study demonstrates that memristors can replace conventional 2T–1C driving circuits with simplified 1T–1 m architectures by exploiting resistance switching. With ultra‐low switching voltages (< ±0.2 V) and multi‐level resistance states, the memristors precisely control the current injected into organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs).

Dynamic backlight influence on motion blur measurement [PDF]
International audienceAlthough commercially response time is still being used, but in the research community it now recognized that the motion blur needs to be estimated in order to give a fair characterization of a display's motion rendering ...

Triply‐twinned architected lattices transform deformation from bending to stretching of struts, delivering up to threefold increases in stiffness and strength across polymeric and metallic systems. High‐resolution synchrotron XCT and image‐based simulations reveal how meta‐grain architecture, defects, and AM build orientation govern failure pathways ...
