Capturing subtle facial motions in 3D face tracking [PDF]
Facial motions produce not only facial feature points motions, but also subtle appearance changes such as wrinkles and shading changes. These subtle changes are important yet difficult issues for both analysis (tracking) and synthesis (animation).

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Analysis of Kinematics of Flapping Wing UAV Using OptiTrack Systems
An analysis of the kinematics of a flapping membrane wing using experimental kinematic data is presented. This motion capture technique tracks the positon of the retroreflective marker(s) placed on the left wing of a 1.3-m-wingspan ornithopter.

Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

The Poses for Equine Research Dataset (PFERD)
Studies of quadruped animal motion help us to identify diseases, understand behavior and unravel the mechanics behind gaits in animals. The horse is likely the best-studied animal in this aspect, but data capture is challenging and time-consuming ...

An Effective and Efficient Approach for 3D Recovery of Human Motion Capture Data
In this work, we propose a novel data-driven approach to recover missing or corrupted motion capture data, either in the form of 3D skeleton joints or 3D marker trajectories.

Real-Time Human Motion Capture with Multiple Depth Cameras
Commonly used human motion capture systems require intrusive attachment of markers that are visually tracked with multiple cameras. In this work we present an efficient and inexpensive solution to markerless motion capture using only a few Kinect sensors.

KDM7A and KDM1A inhibition suppresses tumour promoting pathways in prostate cancer
Treatment resistance is a major challenge for patients with advanced prostate cancer. This study examined an alternative approach to target the major prostate cancer‐promoting pathway by targeting epigenetic factors, whose levels are higher in tumours.

3D hypothesis clustering for cross-view matching in multi-person motion capture
We present a multiview method for markerless motion capture of multiple people. The main challenge in this problem is to determine cross-view correspondences for the 2D joints in the presence of noise.
