Motion Energy Alignment Analysis in Dialogue

We study physical alignment in conversations and motion energy (ME) validation. ME is estimated through counts of pixel changes in video regions of interest. ME of interlocutors is quantified with the MEA system, which uses a frame difference algorithm, and it is designed and widely deployed in situations defined to involve a natural dialogue.

Energy analysis of wave motions in the lamb problem

The problem of the motion of an elastic halfspace (Lamb problem) excited at the surface (x-y plane) by a harmonic normal force is studied. Emphasis is layed on analyzing the partition of the energy among the different wave modes (longitudinal, transverse, Rayleigh) thus generated.
