Enhancement of Motion Estimation Robustness Against Noise and Brightness Variations in Digital Image Sequences [PDF]
Motion estimation and compensation are main stages in hybrid video coding standards. Due to structural simplicity the block-matching motion estimation is the most used method in digital video technology.

A Novel Parallel Motion Estimation Design and Implementation on GPU
The development of high-resolution video mounts a serious challenge to the previous video coding standard. The appearance of the new generation standards greatly relieves the dilemma but increases the coding complexity dramatically.

Bayesian Estimation of Turbulent Motion [PDF]
Based on physical laws describing the multiscale structure of turbulent flows, this paper proposes a regularizer for fluid motion estimation from an image sequence. Regularization is achieved by imposing some scale invariance property between histograms of motion increments computed at different scales.

Human motion correction and representation method from motion camera
Motion estimation is a basic issue for many computer vision tasks, such as human–computer interaction, motion objection detection and intelligent robot. In many practical scenes, the object movement goes with camera motion.
