Battery Surface and Edge Defect Inspection Based on Sub-Regional Gaussian and Moving Average Filter
Detecting the defects of a battery on the surface and edge has always been difficult, especially for concave and convex ones, thereby seriously affecting its quality.

The moving-average-filter-based quasi-type-1 phase-locked loop (MAF-QT1 PLL) can provide zero steady-state phase error in the presence of frequency drifts, achieving a high filtering capability. However, in the presence of an MAF and frequency drift, MAF-

Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Computing missing values in time series [PDF]
This work presents two algorithms to estimate missing values in time series. The first is the Kalman Filter, as developed by Kohn and Ansley (1986) and others. The second is the additive outlier approach, developed by Pefia, Ljung and Maravall.

A motion artefact is a kind of noise that exists widely in wearable electrocardiogram (ECG) monitoring. Reducing motion artefact is challenging in ECG signal preprocessing because the spectrum of motion artefact usually overlaps with the very important ...

KDM7A and KDM1A inhibition suppresses tumour promoting pathways in prostate cancer
Treatment resistance is a major challenge for patients with advanced prostate cancer. This study examined an alternative approach to target the major prostate cancer‐promoting pathway by targeting epigenetic factors, whose levels are higher in tumours.

Modeling and Design of a Fast-Dynamic Response Phaselocked Loop Based on Moving Average Filter
Phase Locked Loops (PLLs) with in-loop Moving Average Filter (MAF) and a Proportional Integral (PI) controller are effective methods to achieve synchronization in grid-connected converters, since they have simple implementation, low computational ...

We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...

Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

Moiré Pattern-Based Stripe Density Measurement Using Low-Frequency Component Detection
This article presents the measurement of stripe density using image processing. The two essential techniques are a digital grid overlay on the target image to create a moiré pattern and a moving average filter to remove the high-frequency ...
