Modeling and Querying Moving Objects with Social Relationships

open access: yesISPRS International Journal of Geo-Information, 2016
Current moving-object database (MOD) systems focus on management of movement data, but pay less attention to modelling social relationships between moving objects and spatial-temporal trajectories in an integrated manner.

Mining moving object data

open access: yesOpen Computer Science, 2012
Abstract Currently many devices provide information about moving objects and location-based services that accumulate a huge volume of moving object data, including trajectories. This paper deals with two useful analysis tasks — mining moving object patterns and trajectory outlier detection. We also present our experience with the TOP-EYE

Patient therapy outcome modeling in cancer organoids is improved by cancer‐associated fibroblasts and organoid assembly convolution

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Patient‐derived organoids (PDOs) from pancreatic, colorectal, and gastric cancers were used to evaluate standard and experimental therapies. Incorporating cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) into organoid cultures improved patient therapy outcome prediction.

Automated FRAP microscopy for high‐throughput analysis of protein dynamics in chromatin organization and transcription

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
RoboMic is an automated confocal microscopy pipeline for high‐throughput functional imaging in living cells. Demonstrated with fluorescence recovery after photobleaching (FRAP), it integrates AI‐driven nuclear segmentation, ROI selection, bleaching, and analysis.

Aerial moving target detection based on motion vector field analysis

open access: yes, 2007
An efficient automatic detection strategy for aerial moving targets in airborne forward-looking infrared (FLIR) imagery is presented in this paper. Airborne cameras induce a global motion over all objects in the image, that invalidates motion-based ...

Real-time multiple object tracking using virtual shells [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
This paper presents a new multiple object tracking framework where arbitrarily shaped complex objects having severe occlusions are successfully tracked in real-time using stationary cameras.

Moving Objects Databases

open access: yes, 2005
Moving objects databases are particular cases of spatio-temporal databases that represent and manage changes related to the movement of objects. Unlike spatio-temporal applications associated with geographic phenomena where the identity of geographic ...

Mycobacterial cell division arrest and smooth‐to‐rough envelope transition using CRISPRi‐mediated genetic repression systems

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
CRISPRI‐mediated gene silencing and phenotypic exploration in nontuberculous mycobacteria. In this Research Protocol, we describe approaches to control, monitor, and quantitatively assess CRISPRI‐mediated gene silencing in M. smegmatis and M. abscessus model organisms.

UTR*-Tree: An Uncertain Trajectories Model for Indexing Moving Objects in Constrained Networks

open access: yes工程科学与技术, 2010
:A novel index structure named UTR*-Tree was proposed for indexing uncertain trajectories. This index combined the dynamic and the static storage structure to manage the moving objects, which treated the constrained networks (where roads nearly keep ...

Nuclear pore links Fob1‐dependent rDNA damage relocation to lifespan control

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Damaged rDNA accumulates at a specific perinuclear interface that couples nucleolar escape with nuclear envelope association. Nuclear pores at this site help inhibit Fob1‐induced rDNA instability. This spatial organization of damage handling supports a functional link between nuclear architecture, rDNA stability, and replicative lifespan in yeast.
