Optimal Strategy Selection for Moving Target Defense Based on Markov Game

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2017
With the evolution of the research on network moving target defense (MTD), the selection of optimal strategy has become one of the key problems in current research.

Embedded Ferroelectric Nanoclusters Can Drive Polarization Reversal in a Non‐Ferroelectric Polar Film via the Proximity Effect

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Ferroelectric nanoclusters create local internal fields in a normally non‐switchable polar film because of polarization mismatch at their interfaces. That field opposes polarization in the regions with larger polarization and reinforces polarization in the regions with smaller polarization.

Symbiotes and defensive Mutualism: Moving Target Defense

open access: yes, 2011
If we wish to break the continual cycle of patching and replacing our core monoculture systems to defend against attacker evasion tactics, we must redesign the way systems are deployed so that the attacker can no longer glean the information about one system that allows attacking any other like system.

Moving Target Defense Using Live Migration of Docker Containers [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
: Today the information technology systems have addresses, software stacks and other configuration remaining unchanged for a long period of time. This paves way for malicious attacks in the system from unknown vulnerabilities.

Coordinated Architectural and Chemical Reinforcement in the Crushing Mandible of a Soldier Termite

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The crushing mandible of a soldier termite withstands substantial biting loads despite lacking mineral. Its cuticle is partitioned: convex teeth pair hardness and zinc enrichment with aligned chitin fibers for contact durability, while stiffer concave regions between teeth carry bending loads.

Effectiveness Evaluation Method for Hybrid Defense of Moving Target Defense and Cyber Deception

open access: yesComputers
Moving Target Defense (MTD) has been proposed as a dynamic defense strategy to address the static and isomorphic vulnerabilities of networks. Recent research in MTD has focused on enhancing its effectiveness by combining it with cyber deception ...

Gradient‐Conductivity Architecture Enables Synchronous Enhancement of Sensitivity and Detection Range in Multifunctional All‐Paper Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A gradient‐engineered all‐paper sensor is fabricated by integrating MXene and in situ grown AgNPs within hierarchical cellulose networks. The device breaks the sensitivity–detection range trade‐off through cascaded conductive pathways, enabling ultrahigh pressure sensitivity, humidity–pressure decoupled dual‐mode sensing, and outstanding EMI shielding,

Accelerated Discovery of Topological Spin Phase Diagrams in CrSBr Magnets Via High‐Throughput Optimization

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Here, we develop a high‐throughput algorithm that accelerates the elucidation of phase diagrams of topological spin textures using limited computational resources at high numerical accuracy. Applying this framework to the van der Waals magnet CrSBr, we unveiled a hierarchy of previously unknown topological textures (domain‐wall bimerons, bimeron chains,
