The efficacy of Moxidectin against dictyocaulus viviparus in cattle [PDF]

open access: yesVeterinary Quarterly, 1992
The efficacy of an injectable and a pour-on formulation of moxidectin against Dictyocaulus viviparus in cattle was examined. The results show that both formulations have an efficacy of 100% against adult worms and developing and inhibited larval stages of D. viviparus.

Challenges and opportunities in mitigating sarcoptic mange in wild South American camelids

open access: yesThe Journal of Wildlife Management, Volume 90, Issue 1, January 2026.
Wild South American camelids—vicuña and guanaco—face threats from sarcoptic mange, a contagious skin disease linked to severe population declines. Despite its impact, major gaps remain in understanding disease dynamics. This review summarizes current knowledge, identifies key data and management gaps, and outlines urgent actions for effective ...

Efficacy and safety of moxidectin against strongyloidiasis

open access: yesThe Lancet Infectious Diseases
BACKGROUND: Primaquine is used to eliminate Plasmodium vivax hypnozoites, but its optimal dosing regimen remains unclear. We undertook a systematic review and individual patient data meta-analysis to investigate the efficacy and tolerability of different primaquine dosing regimens to prevent P vivax recurrence.

Supplementary Material from Can mass drug administration of moxidectin accelerate onchocerciasis elimination in Africa?

open access: yes, 2023
Epidemiological and modelling studies suggest that elimination of Onchocerca volvulus transmission (EoT) throughout Africa may not be achievable with annual mass drug administration (MDA) of ivermectin alone, particularly in areas of high endemicity and ...

Assessment of Anthelmintic Resistance in Major Gastrointestinal Nematodes in Sheep and Goat Farms in Mymensingh, Bangladesh

open access: yesJournal of Parasitology Research, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
Anthelmintic resistance (AR) is a well concern in livestock production. Hence, the study was designed to assess the status of AR in sheep and goat farms at Mymensingh sadar using fecal egg count reduction test (FECRT) and egg hatch assay (EHA). To do this, 10 farms were selected. For FECRT, 40 animals of each farm having more than 200 EPG of feces were
