Out Foxing MPOX Virus (MPOXV)

Journal of Case Reports and Reviews in Medicine
MPOXV is a double-stranded DNA virus (ds-DNA) that recently caused widespread infection in humans. MPOX VIRUS INFECTION IN HUMANS: A REVIEW

INDIAN JOURNAL OF APPLIED RESEARCH
Zoonotic Mpox (formerly Monkeypox) infection has been noted in endemic areas such as Central and West Africa. In recent times, known cases were found in non-endemic areas and WHO declared the Mpox outbreak as a Public Health Emergency of International Concern. Modeling the Transmission Dynamic of Mpox Virus With Vertical Transmission

Mathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences
ABSTRACTAs a virus transmitted mostly through contact of animal hosts and sex, the global outbreak of Mpox from 2022 to 2023 was sudden and unexpected. In this work, we focus on the difference between female and male Mpox patients and develop a two‐group SEIR model to explore the dynamic of Mpox virus in those countries without animal hosts.
