Magnetic Hysteresis Compensation Control of a Magnetorheological Damper

open access: yesFrontiers in Materials, 2019
The hysteresis non-linearity of a magnetorheological (MR) fluid damper is one of the main reasons to restrict it to be widely used in shock buffering fields. This research aims to reduce or eliminate the effect of the magnetic hysteresis of the MR damper.

Fuzzy Sliding Mode Control of Vehicle Magnetorheological Semi-Active Air Suspension

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2021
In order to reduce vehicle vibration during driving conditions, a fuzzy sliding mode control strategy (FSMC) for semi-active air suspension based on the magnetorheological (MR) damper is proposed.

Research on Semi-Active Vibration Control of Pipeline Based on Magneto-Rheological Damper

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2020
This paper proposes a scheme to control the low-frequency vibration of pipelines by using magneto-rheological (MR) vibration reduction technology. The state equation and the transfer function of the pipeline system are established, and its stability and ...

Magnetism and Nonlinear Charge Transport in NiFe2O4/γ‐Al2O3/SrTiO3 Heterostructure: Toward Spintronic Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In this report, we demonstrate that a crystalline phase of 52nm thick NiFe2O4 can be grown by RF sputtering on top of γ‐Al2O3(8nm)/SrTiO3 at a significantly low temperature (150 °C) without compromising the mobility and carrier density of the 2D electron gas at the γ‐Al2O3(8nm)/SrTiO3 interface.

A study of influence of material properties on magnetic flux density induced in magneto rheological damper through finite element analysis

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2018
Magnetorheological fluids are smart materials, which are responsive to the external stimulus and changes their rheological properties. The damper performance (damping force) is dependent on the magnetic flux density induced at the annular gap.

2D Magnetic and Topological Quantum Materials and Devices for Ultralow Power Spintronics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
2D magnets and topological quantum materials enable ultralow‐power spintronics by combining robust magnetic order with symmetry‐protected, Berry‐curvature‐driven transport. Fundamentals of 2D anisotropy and spin‐orbit‐coupling induced band inversion are linked to scalable growth and vdW stacking.
