Comparative Clinical Trajectories Across Cannabis‐Related and Nonsubstance‐Related Psychoses
ABSTRACT Background Research indicates that first‐episode psychosis (FEP) with cannabis use disorder (CUD) carries a substantial disease burden, but more granular clinical trajectories of cannabis‐related psychoses remain unclear. This study examines the clinical trajectories of first clinically diagnosed FEP&CUD and cannabis‐induced psychosis (CIP) in

Investigated mutations in transthyretin (TTR) disrupt the F87‐centered hydrophobic core that stabilizes its tetrameric structure. The mild I107V mutation weakens inter‐chain packing, while H88R fully abolishes tetramer formation, yielding a monomeric, aggregation‐prone form. Structural, biophysical, and computational analyses reveal that both mutations

Abstract Remote spectroscopy is used to characterize the mineralogy and infer the history of planetary bodies. Carbonaceous asteroids, such as B‐type (101955) Bennu, represent the earliest stages of planet formation. B types have a blue (negative) spectral slope and comprise <5% of asteroids.

Abstract Near‐Earth rubble‐pile asteroids Bennu and Ryugu are part of the carbonaceous taxonomic complex (C‐complex), and samples returned from both bodies resemble the most aqueously altered carbonaceous chondrites. However, telescopic and spacecraft visible–near infrared (VIS–NIR) reflectance spectra of Ryugu exhibit a red (positive) spectral slope ...

Impact provenance and age of a unique basalt found in Apollo 12 regolith
Abstract Basaltic sample 12032,366‐18 from the Apollo 12 landing site is distinct among basalts collected at this site, other Apollo landing sites, and lunar meteorites in terms of its age, bulk rock composition, and isotopic composition. We present new Pb isotopic data obtained by in situ Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry on multiple mineral phases in ...

Circular RNAs in Lotus japonicus Responses to Nutrient Supply and Mesorhizobium Symbiosis
ABSTRACT Symbiotic interactions between legumes and rhizobia enable nitrogen fixation under low nutrient conditions. The establishment and function of symbiotic interactions require coordinated changes in gene expression in both the host and the microbe. Circular RNAs (circRNAs) are endogenous gene‐specific molecules that can regulate transcription and

MRE: a flexible approach to multi-resolution modeling
Proceedings 11th Workshop on Parallel and Distributed Simulation, 1997Multi-resolution representation of simulated entities is considered essential for a growing portion of distributed simulations. Heretofore, modelers have represented entites at just one level of resolution, or have represented concurrent representations in an inconsistent manner.

MRE Evaluation of Intestinal Inflammation
Topics in Magnetic Resonance Imaging, 2021Abstract Magnetic resonance enterography (MRE) is a powerful tool for evaluation and management of patients with Crohn disease. Changes of active inflammation of the small bowel can reliably and reproducibly be detected and monitored. Findings indicative of active inflammation include bowel wall thickening, intramural edema and

OpenMRE: A Numerical Platform for MRE Study
IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics: Systems, 2020Magnetic resonance elastography (MRE) offers a noninvasive solution to visualize the mechanical properties of soft tissue, but the study suffers from expensive magnetic resonance scanning. Moreover, translating MRE wave images into soft tissue elasticity is a nontrivial issue for clinical professionals and healthcare practitioners.
