Trends in Veterinary Drug Residues in US Cattle: Analysing USDA Sampling Data

National US residue monitoring data (2021–2023) were analysed to characterise veterinary drug residue detections in cattle. Detection patterns varied by cattle type, with dairy cows accounting for the highest number of detections and a consistent group of commonly used drugs responsible for most violative and non‐violative findings.

Occurrence and Public Health Implications of Brucella Abortus and Antimicrobial Residues in Raw Cow Milk in Bukombe District, Tanzania

Poor husbandry practices in Bukombe District accelerate diseases in livestock and indiscriminate uses of antimicrobials. Cow abortions, raw cow placenta and aborted fetuses feeding dogs, communal grazing and watering and introduction of new animals predict brucellosis in the herd.

Organochlorine Pesticide Residues in Raw Milk Samples Collected From Goat's Dairy Farms of Kastamonu Province, Türkiye

This study analyzed 20 goat milk samples from Kastamonu, Türkiye, detecting methoxychlor, β‐endosulfan, and p,p'‐DDE residues. While methoxychlor exceeded maximum residue limits (MRL) in 13 of 14 positive samples, other residues remained below established thresholds.
