MRTB framework: a robust content-based music retrieval and browsing

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics, 2005
We propose new content-based music retrieval and browsing system called MRTB. New feature extraction procedures such as multi-feature clustering (MFC) and sequential forward selection (SFS) are proposed for robust and optimum performance of the music retrieval system. Using MFC and SFS, we can achieve 86% of average retrieving success rate and 0.5 /spl

Simulation of the transient characteristics in HVDC scheme during the operation of MRTB

open access: yes2016 IEEE International Power Modulator and High Voltage Conference (IPMHVC), 2016
Transfer from monopolar ground return mode to monopolar metallic return mode is essential and critical for HVDC transmission systems. During the transfer, the metallic return transfer breaker plays the key role to confirm the success of the transfer.

Prevention of adverse reactions due to pharmacotherapy in MRTB considering polymorphism of glutathione-S-transferase M1 and T1genes

open access: yesTuberculosis, 2019
Relevance: Genetics of widespread human diseases is a branch of research which is actively developing. The study of polymorphisms of known candidate genes and their prognostic impact on the disease, is one of the important tasks in the study of tuberculosis.

DC Current Interruption in HVDC SF6 Gas MRTB by Means of Self-Excitation

IEEE Power Engineering Review, 2001
The Kii-Channel HVDC link under construction in Japan is equipped with metallic return transfer breakers (MRTBs) in one converter station. A new MRTB for an interrupting current of 3500 A dc was developed. To interrupt a dc current, a method that produces a current zero point by superimposing a self-excited oscillatory current on a dc arc current was ...

Strategy for Switchover between the Ground Return and the Metallic Return Operation Modes of MTDC Systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2021
For a multi-terminal HVDC (MTDC) system in the bipolar configuration with earth electrodes, the switchover between the ground return operation mode and the metallic return operation mode is under researched. An optimal strategy for switchover needs to be

Condition Assessment of MRTB Based on Fuzzy Theory

Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2013
As one of the core equipment of high-voltage direct-current (HVDC) transmission system, the health status of MRTB would directly threaten the secure and stable operation of power system. Aiming at correctly getting the real-time operating status of MRTB , a new condition assessment method base on fuzzy theory is proposed and the corresponding device ...
