Covid-19 Pandemic Digitalization Training For Agriculture Sustainable Development of Micro and Small Enterprises In KWT Sri Rejeki

open access: yesHabitat, 2023
It is undeniable that the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has affected the global economy and environment. The main victims of the COVID-19 outbreak are agricultural Micro and Small Enterprises MSEs in KWT, especially in developing countries, where the ...

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

Analysis of growth and constraints of agricultural micro- and small-scale enterprises in North Wollo Zone, Amhara Regional State, Ethiopia

open access: yesCogent Social Sciences, 2023
The development of Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) in Ethiopia has been hindered by multiple politico-legal, infrastructural, marketing, and financial obstacles. Even though the country’s economy is endowed with resources for agriculture and dependent

Structural instability impairs function of the UDP‐xylose synthase 1 Ile181Asn variant associated with short‐stature genetic syndrome in humans

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

Maunakea Spectroscopic Explorer (MSE): instrumentation suite [PDF]

open access: yesGround-based and Airborne Instrumentation for Astronomy VII, 2018
The Maunakea Spectroscopic Explorer (MSE) is replacement of the existing 3.6-m Canada France Hawaii Telescope into a dedicated wide field highly multiplexed fiber fed spectroscopic facility. MSE is capable of observing over four thousand science targets simultaneously in two resolution modes.

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

Study on Influencing Factors of Micro and Small Enterprises’ Work Safety Behavior in Chinese High-Risk Industries

open access: yesFrontiers in Psychology, 2022
Due to the limited work safety resources and the poor awareness of work safety from business owners with absolute decision-making power, safety accidents frequently occur in Chinese micro and small enterprises (MSEs) in high-risk industries.

The BepiColombo Lander – MSE [PDF]

open access: yesHighlights of Astronomy, 2005
AbstractThe European Space Agency’s BepiColombo mission to the planet, Mercury, is planned for launch in 2012. A lander called the MSE (Mercury Surface Element) has been proposed for the mission. To be compatible with all the constraints for a soft-landing on Mercury, the payload must be highly miniaturized.

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.
