Water depth estimation with ERTS-1 imagery [PDF]
Contrast-enhanced 9.5 inch ERTS-1 images were produced for an investigation on ocean water color. Such images lend themselves to water depth estimation by photographic and electronic density contouring.

Theory of point contact spectroscopy in electron-doped cuprates
In the hole-doped $d_{x^{2}-y^{2}}$-wave cuprate superconductor, due to the midgap surface state (MSS), a zero bias conductance peak (ZBCP) is widely observed in [110] interface point contact spectroscopy (PCS).

ABSTRACT Background Chronic dysphagia persists in some head and neck cancer (HNC) survivors despite preventive exercises, negatively impacting quality of life. Evidence for effective rehabilitation strategies remains limited. Methods This prospective cohort study included 34 HNC survivors (≥ 1 year post‐treatment) who completed a 3‐week intensive ...

Comparisons among a new soil index and other two- and four-dimensional vegetation indices [PDF]
The 2-D difference vegetation index (DVI) and perpendicular vegetation index (PVI), and the 4-D green vegetation index (GVI) are compared in LANDSAT MSS data from grain sorghum (Sorghum bicolor, L. Moench) fields for the years 1973 to 1977.
