Thematic mapper performance [PDF]

open access: yes
The thematic mapper primarily and its difference from MSS is reviewed. The TM has 30 meter resolution and the MSS has 80 meter resolution. This provides on agriculture an ability to accurately classify 10 acre fields with the TM versus 70 acre fields ...

Napabucasin transforms liver microenvironment and boosts immunotherapy efficacy by converting potential metastases into “hot” tumors

open access: yesInterdisciplinary Medicine, EarlyView.
Napabucasin reduces liver metastases by reprogramming the hepatic microenvironment. It induces hepatocyte secretion of CCL21 via c‐Fos activation, recruiting lymphocytes and converting “cold” metastases into immunologically “hot” tumors. This effect is liver‐specific and independent of cancer cells.

An evaluation of a SIRA image to determine forest density under conditions of moderate topographical variation [PDF]

open access: yes
Many studies have shown that radar images have increased classification accuracy over spectral classifications using only LANDSAT Multispectral Band Scanner (MSS) images.

Young adult self‐harm: The role of victimisation and polygenic risk in a population‐based longitudinal study

open access: yesJCPP Advances, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Victimisation has been associated with self‐harm (with or without suicidal intent), but little is known about this association during young adulthood—a distinct developmental period. Further, not all individuals who experience victimisation will later engage in self‐harm, suggesting the influence of other factors.

LANDSAT-4 multispectral scanner (MSS) subsystem radiometric characterization [PDF]

open access: yes
The multispectral band scanner (mass) and its spectral characteristics are described and methods are given for relating video digital levels on computer compatible tapes to radiance into the sensor. Topics covered include prelaunch calibration procedures

Towards Clinical Translation of Intravoxel Incoherent Motion MRI: Acquisition and Analysis Consensus Recommendations

open access: yesJournal of Magnetic Resonance Imaging, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Intravoxel incoherent motion (IVIM) MRI allows for simultaneous assessment of tissue microcirculation (perfusion) and diffusion of water. In single‐center studies, IVIM has shown great potential for diagnosis, treatment outcome prediction, and treatment monitoring for many different diseases and organs.

Investigation of radiometric properties of the LANDSAT-4 multispectral scanner [PDF]

open access: yes
The radiometric data quality of the LANDSAT 4 multispectral scanner (MSS) was examined using several LANDSAT 4 frames. It was found that LANDSAT 4 MSS produces high-quality data of the caliber experienced with previous LANDSATS. For example, the detector

Demographic and Clinical Characteristics of Early‐Onset Colorectal Cancer in Sweden and Finland: A Multicentre Retrospective Cohort Study Over Three Decades

open access: yesJournal of Surgical Oncology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer worldwide, and the proportion of individuals diagnosed under the age of 50 years, referred to as early‐onset colorectal cancer (EOCRC), is increasing. The aim of this study was to evaluate how the demographic and clinical features of EOCR in northern Sweden and Finland have changed over time ...

Application of LANDSAT imagery for snow mapping in Norway [PDF]

open access: yes
The author has identified the following significant results. It was shown that if the snow cover extent was determined from all four LANDSAT bands, there were significant differences in results.
