Statistical inference of reliability for a K-out-of-N: G system with switching failure under Poisson shocks

open access: yesStatistical Theory and Related Fields
Based on the stochastic uncertainty of the system's operating environment, this research presents statistical inferences on the mean time to failure (MTTF) of a K-out-of-N: G non-repairable system model with switching failure under Poisson shocks.

CORE: Augmenting Regenerating-Coding-Based Recovery for Single and Concurrent Failures in Distributed Storage Systems

open access: yes, 2013
Data availability is critical in distributed storage systems, especially when node failures are prevalent in real life. A key requirement is to minimize the amount of data transferred among nodes when recovering the lost or unavailable data of failed ...

Reliability analysis of hanger shot blast KAZO machine in foundry plant

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2018
In a metal casting industry, Hanger Shot Blast KAZO machine plays a very vital role for blasting. The downtime equipment data for the last five years, 2013 to 2017, shows that the hanger shot blast KAZO is the machine which frequently encounters downtime

Full‐length transcriptome profiling of true bug mitochondrial genomes reveals the unique transcriptional regulation during insect evolution

open access: yesInsect Science, EarlyView.
The mitogenome was transcribed into complete primary polycistrons on both strands. The heteropteran mitochondrial transcription termination factor (HmTTF) functions as a bidirectional attenuator rather than a terminator, and co‐evolution of HmTTF and the binding sites was observed.

Reliability improvement in BaTiO3‐based multilayer ceramic capacitors by incorporating alloying of nickel internal electrodes

open access: yesInternational Journal of Applied Ceramic Technology, Volume 23, Issue 1, February 2026.
Abstract The mechanism of the reliability improvement by alloying Ni internal electrodes of BaTiO3‐based multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs) was studied from two perspectives: electric barrier formation at the electrode‐dielectric interface and diffusion of alloying elements into the bulk dielectric layer.

A test chip for automatic reliability measurements of interconnect vias [PDF]

open access: yes, 1992
A test circuit for electromigration reliability measurements was designed and tested. The device under test (DUT) is a via-hole chain. The test circuit permits simultaneous measurements of a number of DUTs, and a fatal error of one DUT does not influence
