MTTR Lower Bound and Construction of Synchronous-Asymmetric Channel-Hopping Sequences for Cognitive Radio Networks

2018 3rd International Conference on Computer and Communication Systems (ICCCS), 2018
In this paper, a family of synchronous-asymmetric channel-hopping (CH) sequences for cognitive radio (CR) networks is constructed and their maximum-time-to-rendezvous (MTTR) lower bound is derived. The new sequences achieve full degree-of-rendezvous and optimal MTTR.

A Maintenance Modeling for Evaluating MTTR of Complex Systems Based on Goal Orient Method

2017 International Conference on Sensing, Diagnostics, Prognostics, and Control (SDPC), 2017
This paper proposes a new maintenance modeling for evaluating Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) of complex systems based on Goal Orient (GO) method. First, the GO operation formulas of MTTR for the frequently-used GO operators are proposed. Then, the system MTTR evaluation process of this paper' method is formulated.

MTTR Grouping Verification Based on Similarity

Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2010
Traditional verification method is not suitable for complex equipment MTTR verify directly for they are more integrative and modularized. A method for group-verification is brought up which comprises sub-system of the complex equipment based on degree of similarity of MTTR curve. Determine similarity degrees of curves.

Analysis of MTBF/MTTR for Logistics Service System

ICTE 2013, 2013
Mean Time Between Failures/Mean Time to Repair (MTBF/MTTR) are important parameters for measuring the reliability of systems. Shorter MTBF/MTTR normally means high service quality. However, a reasonable level of reliability is usually not defined. In this paper, the calculation method of MTBF/MTTR is presented.

A System’s MTTR Allocation Method Based on the Time Factors

Advanced Materials Research, 2012
The maintenance allocation methods are important in the design and maintenance of product. However, these methods have lots of deficiencies in practical application, which is inconsistent with the purpose of the maintenance allocation. To allocate the system MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) to the subsystems more precisely and reasonably, a better model is ...

PC software solutions for MTTR predictions

Proceedings., Annual Reliability and Maintainability Symposium, 2003
The various methods available in computerized maintainability prediction methods (for MIL-HDBK-472, Notice 1, Procedure 5) and the relative factors that should be considered in evaluating software techniques for MTTR (mean time to repair) and associated predictions are discussed.

Microprocessing to Reduce MTTR of Analog Systems

Annual Reliability and Maintainability Symposium, 1984. Proceedings., 2005
This paper presents a cost-effective method to reduce the Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) of analog systems by reducing the amount of time required to perform the elemental task of fault isolation. The traditional technique of manual troubleshooting using test points and external test equipment to perform the fault isolation task is compared with a ...

High availability survivable networks: When is reducing MTTR better than adding protection capacity?

2007 6th International Workshop on Design and Reliable Communication Networks, 2007
In a survivable network, which withstands any single failure by design, service availability comes to depend primarily on dual-failure considerations. In this regard, most research has so far considered strategies for addition of further protection capacity, or post-failure reconfiguration of protection resources, to achieve full or partial dual ...
