Tumour‐proximal deep serum proteomics identifies biomarkers associated with ovarian cancer
New biomarkers are needed for early ovarian cancer detection. Ovarian (tumour‐proximal) and peripheral vein serum from healthy women and patients with benign or malignant tumours underwent nanoparticle‐enriched deep proteomics. Ovarian serum yielded more protein identifications and revealed tumour‐reflective signatures.

Mucinous Neoplasms of the Appendix and Peritoneum
Context .—Appendiceal mucinous neoplasms are considered enigmatic tumors of unpredictable biologic potential. Their importance lies in their potential to spread to the peritoneum and viscera in the form of gelatinous mucin deposits. Extra-appendiceal spread of these tumors is the most common etiology of

Ileocecal Intussusception Caused by an Appendiceal Neoplasm
Mucinous appendiceal neoplasm occurs in less than 1 % of appendicectomies. Majority of what is known in the literature is about pseudomyxoma peritonei, which exists as its disseminated form.

Cell surface CD11c as a neutrophil aging marker molecule
Cell surface CD11chi neutrophils were more aged and had better phagocytic function than CD11c−/lo neutrophils. Transcriptomic analysis of CD11chi neutrophils and CD11c−/lo neutrophils in pediatric population showed that the most difference was seen in infants.

Appendiceal Mucinous Neoplasm [PDF]
Introduction: Appendiceal intussusception is an infrequent surgical disease that can present acutely, mimicking acute appendicitis, or chronically with intermittent right lower quadrant pain. Lead points are associated with appendiceal intussusceptions in slightly 70% of cases.

Systematic investigation of antibody orientation strategies in lateral flow immunoassays reveals that a para‐substituted (aminomethyl)phenylboronic acid mediated probe (P‐6) combined with a biotin‐streptavidin test‐line modification achieves a synergistic 14‐ to 19‐fold sensitivity gain over conventional conjugation. Furthermore, multiplexed detection,

Intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm of pancreas
Intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms (IPMNs) of the pancreas are neoplasms that are characterized by ductal dilation, intraductal papillary growth, and thick mucus secretion. This relatively recently defined pathology is evolving in terms of its etiopathogenesis, clinical features, diagnosis, management, and treatment guidelines.
