Utility of Combining FIESTA‐C and MENSA for Facial Nerve Identification in Parotid Gland Surgery
The Laryngoscope, Volume 136, Issue 10, Page 4321-4326, October 2026.This study evaluated the role of FIESTA‐C and MENSA in facial nerve identification and tumor localization in parotid gland surgery. The combination of FIESTA‐C and MENSA improved the accuracy of facial nerve identification and tumor localization compared to either sequence alone.

The 2 cases reported here bring the total number of cases in the literature to 29. 2. No recurrences have been reported to date in any mucoepidermoid bronchial tumor in which complete resection has been feasible.

Evaluation of Systemic Inflammatory Markers in Predicting Malignancy in Parotid Gland Tumors
The Laryngoscope, Volume 136, Issue 9, Page 3783-3790, September 2026.Preoperative systemic inflammatory indices may assist in distinguishing benign from malignant parotid tumors. In this cohort of 259 patients undergoing parotidectomy, malignant tumors were associated with higher neutrophil‐to‐lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and platelet‐to‐lymphocyte ratio (PLR) values, as well as larger tumor size and older age.
