Well‐Defined Nanostructures: Concept, Impact and Perspective

open access: yesSmall, Volume 22, Issue 12, 25 February 2026.
This perspective explores a connectivity‐driven framework for classifying well‐defined nanostructures (WDNSs) beyond traditional dimensionality‐based approaches. By highlighting discrete connections, serial connections, 2.5D connections, and 3D interpenetrations, it examines the structural and functional impacts of WDNSs across catalysis, energy, and ...

Preparation and Molecular Dynamics Simulation of RDX/MUF Nanocomposite Energetic Microspheres with Reduced Sensitivity

open access: yesProcesses, 2019
In order to improve the general problem of irregular coating morphology and low mechanical strength of the coating layer in existing coating desensitization technology, nano-cyclotrimethylene trinitramine/melamine-urea-formaldehyde (RDX/MUF) composite ...

PENGARUH PENAMBAHAN SURFAKTAN TERHADAP KARAKTERISTIK MIKROKAPSUL MELAMIN UREA FORMALDEHID

open access: yesTeknika, 2017

How nitrogen and phosphorus stoichiometry drive the physiology and photosynthesis of Scrippsiella acuminata (Dinophyceae)

open access: yesJournal of Phycology, Volume 62, Issue 1, Page 96-111, February 2026.
Abstract Development and growth of microalgae are mainly sustained by two essential nutrients: nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P). Although single‐nutrient limitation has been extensively studied, the balance between N and P availability remains less explored.

Achieving the Holevo bound via a bisection decoding protocol

open access: yes, 2016
We present a new decoding protocol to realize transmission of classical information through a quantum channel at asymptotically maximum capacity, achieving the Holevo bound and thus the optimal communication rate. At variance with previous proposals, our

THE EFFECTS OF BORON COMPOUNDS AND DIFFERENT MELAMINE CONTENTS IN MUF RESINS ON SOME PROPERTIES OF MDF PANELS

open access: yesBioResources, 2011
The objective of this study was to determine the effects of some boron compounds, which have fire retardant properties, as well as melamine-urea-formaldehyde (MUF) resins having different melamine contents (10%, 15%, and 20%) on some physical and ...

Earth’s magnetic field effect on MUF calculation and consequences for hmF2 trend estimates

open access: yes, 2017
Knowledge of the state of the upper atmosphere, and in particular of the ionosphere, is essential in several applications such as systems used in radio frequency communications, satellite positioning and navigation.

Adult black soldier fly meal (imago, Hermetia illucens) as replacement for fish meal in diets for Pacific Whiteleg shrimp (Penaeus vannamei)

open access: yesJournal of the World Aquaculture Society, Volume 57, Issue 1, February 2026.
Abstract Adult black soldier flies (imagines, Hermetia illucens) are a by‐product of large‐scale insect larvae production. The suitability of this novel sidestream as a protein source in diets for juvenile Whiteleg shrimp (Penaeus vannamei, initial weight 5–6 g) was investigated in controlled feeding experiments in recirculating aquaculture systems ...

Thermal Shielding and Vapor Transport Enhancement in MOF‐Enabled Membranes for Membrane Distillation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 6, 30 January 2026.
A metal–organic framework‐enabled membrane (MEM) with a hierarchical porous structure is developed for thermal‐efficient membrane distillation. By embedding ZIF‐8 onto PH nanofibers, the MEM achieves low thermal conductivity and significantly enhances vapor flux and thermal efficiency.

Fiberboard Made from Scrap Denim: Characterization of its Properties by Effective Bulk Modulus Elastography

open access: yesBioResources, 2023
Fiberboards from scrap denim were fabricated using two different resins, melamine urea formaldehyde (MUF) and polymeric methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (pMDI). Resin content and MUF-pMDI weight ratio were studied. Physical and mechanical tests determined
