Lung ultrasonography as a tool to detect interstitial lung disease in rheumatoid arthritis: A meta‐analysis of diagnostic test accuracy studies

A systematic review and meta‐analysis were conducted to evaluate the diagnostic accuracy of lung ultrasonography (LUS) to high‐resolution computed tomography (HRCT) in detecting rheumatoid arthritis (RA)‐interstitial lung disease (ILD). Nine studies with a total of 845 participants were included.

Review on Synthesis Methods of Carbon Nanotubes as Activated Carbon Composites Based on Biomass for Supercapacitors in Electric Vehicles

Energy Technology, Volume 13, Issue 7, July 2025.
This work reviews various methods to synthesize carbon nanotubes and analyzes the best methods to produce composites for supercapacitors for electric vehicles. Chemical vapor deposition is found to be the best method because the produced CNTs can be used directly without purification unless the catalyst particles need to be removed.

Accuracy and interpretability of smartwatch electrocardiogram for early detection of atrial fibrillation: A systematic review and meta‐analysis

The smartwatch ECG algorithm achieved 86% sensitivity and 94% specificity with an sAUC of 96%, while manual readings by trained personnel reached 96% sensitivity, 95% specificity, and an sAUC of 98% in a brand‐specific subgroup analysis. These findings demonstrate that the smartwatch ECG detects AFib, although 3% of results are unreadable.
