Strength Increase of Alumina Foams by a Sodium Aluminosilicate Glass Coating with Subsequent Na+ ↔ K+ Ion Exchange (Gorilla Glass Coating)

Alumina replica foams are coated with sodium aluminosilicate glass using a simple dip‐coating approach with an aqueous precursor. The selected glass composition is suitable for a Na+ ↔ K+ ion exchange, which is expected to increase the strength of the glass coating.

Efficacy of far infrared functional glasses in the treatment of meibomian gland dysfunction‐related dry eye

In this clinical trial, 61 patients with MGD‐related DED wore FIR‐functional eyeglasses throughout the day and underwent a comprehensive eye assessment at the trial's end. Significant improvements were observed in the symptoms, clinical signs, and meibomian gland function of patients with MGD‐related DED.
