Robust explanations for human-neural multi-agent systems with formal verification
The quality of explanations in human-agent interactions is fundamental to the development of trustworthy AI systems. In this paper we study the problem of generating robust contrastive explanations for human-neural multi-agent systems and introduce two ...

Strategic behavior of large language models and the role of game structure versus contextual framing
This paper investigates the strategic behavior of large language models (LLMs) across various game-theoretic settings, scrutinizing the interplay between game structure and contextual framing in decision-making.

Consensus of semi‐Markov multi‐agent systems with stochastically unmatched topologies
This paper addresses the consensus problem of semi‐Markov multi‐agent systems, where the topology switching is stochastically unmatched to the original switching.

Contract Formation through Preemptive Normative Conflict Resolution [PDF]
We explore a rule-based formalisation for contracts: the rules capture conditional norms, that is, they describe situations arising during the enactment of a multi-agent system, and norms that arise from these situations.

ABSTRACT Background Therapeutic apheresis (TA) is an established treatment modality for hematologic, neurologic, and immunologic disorders, yet access remains severely limited in sub‐Saharan Africa. Donor apheresis, including platelet apheresis collection from healthy donors, represents an important complementary modality supporting blood product ...

Nondestructive intervention to multi-agent systems through an intelligent agent. [PDF]
For a given multi-agent system where the local interaction rule of the existing agents can not be re-designed, one way to intervene the collective behavior of the system is to add one or a few special agents into the group which are still treated as ...

We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Niching In Evolutionary Multi-Agent Systems
Niching is a group of techniques used in evolutionary algorithms, useful inseveral types of problems, including multimodal or nonstationary optimiza-tion. This paper investigates the applicability of these methods to evolutionarymulti-agent systems (EMAS)

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Special Issue “Multi-Agent Systems”: Editorial
Multi-agent systems (MAS) allow and promote the development of distributed and intelligent applications in complex and dynamic environments. Applications of this kind have a crucial role in our everyday life, as witnessed by the broad range of domains ...
