Novel Multi-band Planar Monopole Antenna for Multi-band Wireless Systems

2006 European Microwave Conference, 2006
A new multi-band and wideband planar monopole antenna is presented. The proposed antenna consists of a wideband planar monopole antenna and the band-notched slots. In order to generate quad-band characteristic, the authors insert three U-shaped slots in the wideband planar monopole which have the same edge point and are connected.

Wide/Multi-band Linearized TWTAs

2007 IEEE International Vacuum Electronics Conference, 2007
This paper will discuss the state of the art in achieving wideband linearization of TWTAs. Multi octave bandwidth linearization has been achieved at frequencies from L through Ka-band. The trades between using a single predistortion linearizer and multi-band linearizers will be discussed.

Multi-band Fractal Microwave Absorbers

2018
Multi-band fractal microwave absorbers are proposed to operate within the UHF-RFID band and/or the GSM frequency bands. The miniaturization capabilities offered by the adopted fractal geometry are exploited to design multi-band absorber unit cells having small size (less than half-wavelength) and a very thin substrate thickness (≤λ0/100 at the ...

Multi-band ultra wide band antennas

2005 European Microwave Conference, 2005
This paper presents 3D ultra wide band antennas modified to be multi band UWB antennas. The solution consists in creating stubs in the shape of the antenna to realize one or more filtering functions. A study of various topologies has been made and a model has been developed to control the creation of stop bands in the matching bandwidth of the antenna.

Multi-band miniaturized slot antenna with multi-band impedance matching circuit

Proceedings of 2014 3rd Asia-Pacific Conference on Antennas and Propagation, 2014
This manuscript describes the design and implementation of miniaturized slot antenna with two-stage impedance matching circuit for 800MHz and 2GHz up and down link multiband application. The impedance matching circuit is based on the 2-stage band-pass filter (BPF).

Multi-band Polarization Imaging

2016
Establishing a multi-band polarization imaging system is the premise of acquiring accurate multi-band polarization information. However, the acquired polarization and spectral data can be noisy and less accurate in the sensing process due to the factors such as dark current, positioning error, and the transmittance in different wavelengths.

Multi-Band Sampling

1996
Abstract Furthermore, these intervals are to be separated by gaps which a.re themselves intervals of positive length. It will be recalled from Definition 6.19 that such a function is called multi-band.

Multi-band antenna technology

IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society Symposium, 2004., 2004
Enhancing the operational capability of current sensors and radar systems to detect targets at long ranges and map the terrain in all kinds of weather is a well-accepted measure. Multi-target tracking would require multi-beam, multi-band scanning phased array antennas. Therefore, in order to meet the current challenges, current sensor systems and radar

Multi-Band GNSS Antenna

2011
A new low cost antenna for high-precision applications in Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) is described. The antenna has been designed to operate for all existing satellite navigation frequencies in L-band including GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and Compass (1164–1300MHz and 1559–1610MHz).

Multi-band automatic speech recognition

Computer Speech & Language, 2001
This paper presents a new architecture for automatic speech recognition systems which is characterized by the division of the spectral domain of the speech signal into several independent frequency bands. This model is based on the psycho-acoustic work of Fletcher (1953) who proposed a similar principle for the human auditory system. Jont B.
