Advanced multi-band modulation schemes for high speed data center optical interconnects
2016 25th Wireless and Optical Communication Conference (WOCC), 2016A 56 Gb/s multi-band CAP link with zero overhead signal recovery and enhanced timing jitter tolerance is demonstrated for intra- and inter-data center optical interconnects. It is the first examination of a 56-Gb/s Multi-band CAP signal transmission over 80 km SMF in terms of OSNR performance and chromatic dispersion tolerance.
