Implicit Transmission of Coded Information Using Multi-Constellation Signaling

IEEE Communications Letters, 2017
A multi-constellation signaling (MCS) technique is proposed to implicitly transmit coded bits in addition to explicitly transmitted bits over the channel to increase the throughput. MCS schemes select one out of $N(>1)$ constellations based on a set of implicit bits during every interval.

Reliability Monitoring Algorithm in Multi-constellation Satellite Navigation

Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering, 2013
Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), including GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo and other systems, are becoming more and more widely used in our today life. As a result, multi-constellation receiver that compatible with more than one system will take the place of single-constellation receiver that only uses GPS or BeiDou system.

Multi-Constellation DGNSS - A Time to Revise Definitions

2020 European Navigation Conference (ENC), 2020
A paper describes a novel approach to computing DGNSS solution when multi-GNSS measurement observables are available. The approach is applicable to situations when not all the GNSS observables are accompanied with DGNSS corrections. A commonly used “classical” recommendation for such cases is to discard observables which do not have corrections ...

Satellite selection for multi-constellation

2008 IEEE/ION Position, Location and Navigation Symposium, 2008
There will be 70~90 navigation satellites operating at the same time when Glonass and Galileo reach full operation capability. As a result, the number of visible satellites can reach 30. Thus the positioning accuracy will be improved greatly. However, so many satellite measurements may burden the receiverpsilas processing element when to use them to ...

Multimode Multi-Constellation GNSS Antenna

2018 IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation & USNC/URSI National Radio Science Meeting, 2018
This paper demonstrates a multimode Multi-Constellation GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) Antenna solution for automotive applications. In designing a GNSS Antenna to cover global requirements, there are requirements to be considered in order to support multiple navigation satellite constellations.

Satellite Selection for Multi-Constellation SBAS

ION GNSS+, The International Technical Meeting of the Satellite Division of The Institute of Navigation, 2016
The incorporation of multiple constellations into satellite based augmentation systems (SBAS) may lead to cases where there are more corrected satellites in view than a receiver has tracking channels. This paper addresses two related topics: identifying the most important satellites to track in order to provide availability; and identifying a ...

Research on Properties of DOP in Multi-constellation

2014 Seventh International Symposium on Computational Intelligence and Design, 2014
With the continuous development and improvement of GNSS, the multi-constellation will be the main navigation mode in the future. Dilution of precision (DOP) has been widely used as an accuracy metric and for navigation and tracking systems. Properties of DOP in multi-constellation are one of the crucial elements to be studied.

Multi-Constellation T-RAIM: An Experimental Evaluation

ION GNSS+, The International Technical Meeting of the Satellite Division of The Institute of Navigation, 2017
Time-Receiver Autonomous Integrity Monitoring (T-RAIM) algorithms assess the reliability of the timing solution provided by a Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) timing receiver. Timing receivers process GNSS observables under the assumption that their antenna is static or that their position is known.
