Constrained consumable resource allocation in alternative stochastic networks via multi-objective decision making 2 [PDF]
Many real projects complete through the realization of one and only one path of various possible network paths. Here, these networks are called alternative stochastic networks (ASNs).

We developed and validated a DNA methylation–based biomarker panel to distinguish pleural mesothelioma from other pleural conditions. Using the IMPRESS technology, we translated this panel into a clinically applicable assay. The resulting two classifier models demonstrated excellent performance, achieving high AUC values and strong diagnostic accuracy.

Multi criteria decision making on load shedding scheme in an islanded system [PDF]
Any interruptions to the electrical system can cause loss of the power supply due to the burden of the generator. In industries, intenuption in power system can cause million of losses when the shortage of supply occurs.

Optimizing multi-objective decision making having qualitative evaluation
We develop a ranking process for multi-objective decision making. For optimizing the multi-objective problem having both quantitative and qualitative objectives, weight assessment is important to convert the problem into the corresponding single objective problem.

Strength through diversity: how cancers thrive when clones cooperate
Intratumor heterogeneity can offer direct benefits to the tumor through cooperation between different clones. In this review, Kuiken et al. discuss existing evidence for clonal cooperativity to identify overarching principles, and highlight how novel technological developments could address remaining open questions.

Next‐generation proteomics improves lung cancer risk prediction
This is one of very few studies that used prediagnostic blood samples from participants of two large population‐based cohorts. We identified, evaluated, and validated an innovative protein marker model that outperformed an established risk prediction model and criteria employed by low‐dose computed tomography in lung cancer screening trials.

Multi Objective Optimisation for the minimisation of Life Cycle Carbon Footprint & Life Cycle Cost using NSGA II: A Refurbished High-Rise Residential Building Case Study [PDF]
This paper presents the application of Multi Objective Optimisation approach to a design decision-making process, which aims to minimise Life Cycle Carbon Footprint (LCCF) and Life Cycle Cost (LCC) from cradle-to-grave of a refurbishment intervention ...

A Survey of Multi-Objective Sequential Decision-Making
Sequential decision-making problems with multiple objectives arise naturally in practice and pose unique challenges for research in decision-theoretic planning and learning, which has largely focused on single-objective settings. This article surveys algorithms designed for sequential decision-making problems with multiple objectives. Though there is a

Effective therapeutic targeting of CTNNB1‐mutant hepatoblastoma with WNTinib
WNTinib, a Wnt/CTNNB1 inhibitor, was tested in hepatoblastoma (HB) experimental models. It delayed tumor growth and improved survival in CTNNB1‐mutant in vivo models. In organoids, WNTinib outperformed cisplatin and showed enhanced efficacy in combination therapy, supporting its potential as a targeted treatment for CTNNB1‐mutated HB.
