Optimisation of Low-Thrust and Hybrid Earth-Moon Transfers [PDF]
This paper presents an optimization procedure to generate fast and low-∆v Earth-Moon transfer trajectories, by exploiting the multi-body dynamics of the Sun-Earth-Moon system.

Linear and nonlinear, second-order problems with Sturm–Liouville-type, multi-point boundary conditions [PDF]
We consider the nonlinear equation $$-u'' = f(u) + h , \quad \text{on} \quad (-1,1),$$ where $f : {\mathbb R} \to {\mathbb R}$ and $h : [-1,1] \to {\mathbb R}$ are continuous, together with general Sturm-Liouville type, multi-point boundary conditions at $\pm 1$.

ABSTRACT Objective Isolated rapid eye movement sleep behavior disorder (iRBD) is a prodromal state for Lewy body disorders and exhibits biological heterogeneity that may influence clinical expression and progression. We examined clinical features in individuals with iRBD and biomarker‐defined synucleinopathy.

Non-homogeneous boundary-value problems of higher order differential equations with p-Laplacian
We establish sufficient conditions for the existence of positive solutions to five multi-point boundary value problems. These problems have a common equation (in different function domains) and different boundary conditions.

Existence Analysis of Multi-Point Boundary Value Problems with Riesz-Caputo Fractional Derivatives [PDF]
This paper explores the study of a specific category of nonlinear multi-point boundary value problems (BVPs) associated with Riesz-Caputo fractional differential equations and integral boundary conditions.

Vacancy in graphene: insight on magnetic properties from theoretical modeling
Magnetic properties of a single vacancy in graphene is a relevant and still much discussed problem. The experimental results point to a clearly detectable magnetic defect state at the Fermi energy, while calculations based on density functional theory ...

A Robust Adaptive One‐Sample‐Ahead Preview Super‐Twisting Sliding Mode Controller
Block Diagram of the Robust Adaptive One‐Sample‐Ahead Preview Super‐Twisting Sliding Mode Controller. ABSTRACT This article introduces a discrete‐time robust adaptive one‐sample‐ahead preview super‐twisting sliding mode controller. A stability analysis of the controller by Lyapunov criteria is developed to demonstrate its robustness in handling both ...

Existence of positive solutions for a singular fractional boundary value problem
We study the existence of positive solutions for a nonlinear Riemann–Liouville fractional differential equation with a sign-changing nonlinearity, subject to multi-point fractional boundary conditions.
