Analytical and experimental investigation of circulation control by means of a turbulent Coanda jet [PDF]
An analytical and experimental investigation of circulation control on a circular cylinder by means of tangential blowing (Coanda effect) is presented. The analytical method developed has also been used to estimate the blowing coefficients required for ...

A fully implicit multi-axial solution strategy for direct ratchet boundary evaluation : theoretical development [PDF]
Ensuring sufficient safety against ratchet is a fundamental requirement in pressure vessel design. Determining the ratchet boundary can prove difficult and computationally expensive when using a full elastic-plastic finite element analysis and a number ...

This study presents novel anti‐counterfeiting tags with multilevel security features that utilize additional disguise features. They combine luminescent nanosized Ln‐MOFs with conductive polymers to multifunctional mixed‐matrix membranes and powder composites. The materials exhibit visible/NIR emission and matrix‐based conductivity even as black bodies.

Some Results of Positive Solutions for a Beam Equation with Multi-Point Boundary Conditions
In this paper, we give some results on the existence and multiplicity of positive solutions for a class of fourth-order multi-point boundary value problems with a sign-changing Green’s function.

Fractional Skyrmion Tubes in Chiral‐Interfaced 3D Magnetic Nanowires
In chiral 3D helical magnetic nanowires, the coupling between the geometric and magnetic chirality provides a way to create topological spin states like vortex tubes. Here, it is demonstrated how the breaking of this coupling in interfaced 3D nanowires of opposite chirality leads to even more complex topological spin states, such as fractional ...
