Ceramic Particle‐Reinforced Medium‐Entropy Alloys With Outstanding Mechanical Properties Prepared by Novel Micro‐LPBF

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An innovative medium entropy alloy (MEA) composite material was fabricated via micro laser powder bed fusion (μ‐LPBF) with appropriate nano‐ceramic particles doping and exhibited markedly improved overall performance, including synergistically enhanced strength and ductility, increased hardness and compressive strength, improved wear resistance and ...

Covalent Organic Frameworks for Photocatalytic CO2 Reduction: Metal Integration Principles, Strategies and Functions

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Covalent organic frameworks (COFs) with metals have been recognized as versatile platforms for photocatalytic CO2 reduction (CO2PRR). Herein, an overview of metal integration strategies for COFs is systematically summarized. Regulatory mechanisms and structure–activity relationships between metal integration and COF‐based CO2PRR are emphasized.

Crude Oil Price Prediction Based On Multi-scale Decomposition [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
A synergetic model (DWT-LSSVM) is presented in this paper. First of all, the raw data is decomposed into approximate coefficients and the detail coefficients at different scales by discrete wavelet transforms (DWT). These coefficients obtained by previous phase are then used for prediction independently using least squares support vector machines ...

Imaging of Biphoton States: Fundamentals and Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Quantum states of two photons exhibit a rich polarization and spatial structure, which provides a fundamental resource of strongly correlated and entangled states. This review analyzes the physics of these intriguing properties and explores the various techniques and technologies available to measure them, including the state of the art of their ...

Intermediate Resistive State in Wafer‐Scale Vertical MoS2 Memristors Through Lateral Silver Filament Growth for Artificial Synapse Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In MOCVD MoS2 memristors, a current compliance‐regulated Ag filament mechanism is revealed. The filament ruptures spontaneously during volatile switching, while subsequent growth proceeds vertically through the MoS2 layers and then laterally along the van der Waals gaps during nonvolatile switching.

Displacement Patterns and Predictive Modeling of Slopes in the Bayan Obo Open-Pit Iron Mine

open access: yesApplied Sciences
To address the limitations of traditional early warning methods in open-pit slope displacement monitoring—particularly their neglect of spatiotemporal correlations and their difficulty in analyzing multi-scale non-stationary sequences—this study proposes

High‐Resolution and Real‐Time In Situ Generation of Cellular Spheroids by Laser‐Assisted Bioprinting for Guided Microvascularization

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Micro‐injection laser‐assisted bioprinting enables ultrafast and precise patterning of small endothelial cell spheroids by injecting a highly concentrated single‐cell suspension into GelMA/ColMA hydrogels. In co‐culture with fibroblasts, controlled pre‐vasculogenic network formation is obtained at microscale resolution.
