Applications of Multi-reduction and Multi-soliton Analysis of (2+1) Zakharov-Kuznetsov (ZK) Equation

open access: yesEast European Journal of Physics
We study the Zakharov-Kuznetsov (ZK) equation with the triple-power law non-linearity. We determine the invariance properties and construct classes of conservation laws and show how the relationship leads to double reductions of the systems, yielding ...

New interaction solutions and nonlocal symmetries for the (2 + 1)-dimensional coupled Burgers equation

open access: yesArab Journal of Basic and Applied Sciences, 2018
The nonlocal symmetries for the coupled (2 + 1)-dimensional Burgers system are obtained with the truncated Painlevé expansion method. The nonlocal symmetries can be localized to the Lie point symmetries by introducing auxiliary dependent variables.

Stability of a Fully Discrete Local Discontinuous Galerkin Method for the Generalized Benjamin–Ono Equation

open access: yesNumerical Methods for Partial Differential Equations, Volume 42, Issue 4, July 2026.
ABSTRACT The main purpose of this paper is to design a fully discrete local discontinuous Galerkin (LDG) scheme for the generalized Benjamin–Ono equation. First, we prove the L2$$ {L}^2 $$‐stability for the proposed semi‐discrete LDG scheme and obtained a suboptimal order of convergence for power nonlinear flux.

A bilinear approach to a Pfaffian self-dual Yang-Mills equation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
By using the bilinear technique of soliton theory, a pfaffian version of the SU(2) self-dual Yang-Mills equation and its solution is ...

Global Observational Comparison of Large‐Scale Traveling Atmospheric and Ionospheric Disturbances During the May 2024 Geomagnetic Storm

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 12, 28 June 2026.
Abstract During the geomagnetic storm on 10 May 2024, neutral density measurements from 14 Tianmu, Swarm, and GRACE‐FO satellites at ∼510 km altitude, combined with total electron content (TEC) observations, enabled the first global observational comparison of large‐scale traveling atmospheric and ionospheric disturbances (LSTADs/TIDs) via snapshots ...

Reconfigurable Spoof Plasmonic Skyrmion Electronics for Deformation‐Invariant Multimode Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 34, 19 June 2026.
A flexible multimode sensor based on capacitively loaded spoof plasmonic skyrmions enables deformation‐invariant dielectric sensing with ultra‐compact size and high Q‐factor. Near‐equidistant resonances remain stable under shape change and bending, while capacitor loading improves bending robustness and multimode sensitivity, highlighting strong ...

Twist Engineering of Hybrid 2D van der Waals‐Transition Metal Oxide Membranes

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, Volume 5, Issue 6, June 2026.
The integration of transition metal oxide membranes with 2D van der Waals materials offers exciting opportunities to study new interfacial phenomena. These interactions can create complex moiré patterns that change the materials' properties. Understanding these interactions, influenced by symmetry and distortion, poses significant challenges and ...

Complex sine-Gordon theory: solitons, defects and boundaries [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
This thesis presents research into the properties and features of the complex sine- Gordon theory. The CSG theory is a dimensional integrable held theory that admits soliton solutions which carry a Noether charge due to the U(I) invariance of the theory.

On the non-integrability of the Popowicz peakon system [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
We consider a coupled system of Hamiltonian partial differential equations introduced by Popowicz, which has the appearance of a two-field coupling between the Camassa-Holm and Degasperis-Procesi equations.
