Human Body Mixed Motion Pattern Recognition Method Based on Multi-Source Feature Parameter Fusion [PDF]

open access: yesSensors, 2020
Aiming at the requirement of rapid recognition of the wearer’s gait stage in the process of intelligent hybrid control of an exoskeleton, this paper studies the human body mixed motion pattern recognition technology based on multi-source feature parameters. We obtain information on human lower extremity acceleration and plantar analyze the relationship

Thermo-visual feature fusion for object tracking using multiple spatiogram trackers [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
In this paper, we propose a framework that can efficiently combine features for robust tracking based on fusing the outputs of multiple spatiogram trackers. This is achieved without the exponential increase in storage and processing that other multimodal

A Framework for Predicting Winter Wheat Yield in Northern China with Triple Cross-Attention and Multi-Source Data Fusion

open access: yesPlants
To solve the issue that existing yield prediction methods do not fully capture the interaction between multiple factors, we propose a winter wheat yield prediction framework with triple cross-attention for multi-source data fusion.

Mapping the evolution of mitochondrial complex I through structural variation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Respiratory complex I (CI) is crucial for bioenergetic metabolism in many prokaryotes and eukaryotes. It is composed of a conserved set of core subunits and additional accessory subunits that vary depending on the organism. Here, we categorize CI subunits from available structures to map the evolution of CI across eukaryotes. Respiratory complex I (CI)

Research on Coal Gangue Recognition Based on Multi-source Time–Frequency Domain Feature Fusion

open access: yesACS Omega, 2023
The over-exploitation of resources caused by the increasing coal demand has resulted in a sharp increase in solid waste emissions mainly gangue, which has made the burden on the environment, economy, resources, and society of our country heavier. In order to achieve a balance between energy consumption and solid waste emission in the process of top ...

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.
