Deep Learning Pose Estimation for Phenotyping of Co-Occurring Hyperkinetic Movement Disorders. [PDF]

open access: yesAnn Clin Transl Neurol
ABSTRACT Objective To explore whether routine outpatient video combined with deep learning‐based pose estimation and clinically interpretable kinematic features can support multi‐label phenotyping of co‐occurring hyperkinetic movement disorders (HMDs).

PAK1 activation drives divergent resistance mechanisms to aromatase inhibition and tamoxifen in a luminal: A breast cancer model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Breast cancer remains a major cause of cancer death in women, frequently developing endocrine therapy resistance. This study demonstrates that upregulated p21‐activated kinase 1 (PAK1) activity drives resistance to tamoxifen and long‐term estrogen deprivation in ER+ breast cancer models.

Unsupervised multi-label text classification using a world knowledge ontology [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
The development of text classification techniques has been largely promoted in the past decade due to the increasing availability and widespread use of digital documents. Usually, the performance of text classification relies on the quality of categories

Retargeted Multi-View Feature Learning With Separate and Shared Subspace Uncovering

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2017
Multi-view feature learning aims at improving the performances of learning tasks, by fusing various kinds of features (views), such as heterogeneous features and/or homogeneous features.

In vitro and in silico modelling of ROS1‐positive non‐small cell lung cancer reveals fusion‐dependent tyrosine kinase inhibitor responses

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Drug resistance limits treatment success in a subset of lung cancers driven by ROS1 gene alterations. Using patient‐derived cells and computer simulations, we studied three key mutations and how they affect five targeted drugs. The mutations reduced drug effectiveness in different ways by altering protein structure and behavior.

Deep Multi-label Classification in Affine Subspaces [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Multi-label classification (MLC) problems are becoming increasingly popular in the context of medical imaging. This has in part been driven by the fact that acquiring annotations for MLC is far less burdensome than for semantic segmentation and yet ...

Circulating microRNA signatures of cachexia and cancer in Canis familiaris as a comparative oncology model for human disease

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Circulating microRNAs as biomarkers of cachexia and sex‐specific cancer in senior dogs. In 25 client‐owned dogs, four circulating miRNAs (miR‐15a, miR‐15b, miR‐16, miR‐140) were downregulated in cachexia, with miR‐16 the strongest individual biomarker (AUC = 0.899).

A survey on canonical correlation analysis based multi-view learning

open access: yes智能科学与技术学报, 2022
Multi-view learning (MVL) is a strategy for fusing data from different sources or subsets.Canonical correlation analysis (CCA) is very important in MVL, whose main idea is to maximize the correlation of different views. The traditional CCA can only ...

Hierarchical Multi-View Semi-Supervised Learning for Very High-Resolution Remote Sensing Image Classification

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2020
Traditional classification methods used for very high-resolution (VHR) remote sensing images require a large number of labeled samples to obtain higher classification accuracy. Labeled samples are difficult to obtain and costly.

Weighted Ensemble Classification of Multi-label Data Streams

open access: yes, 2017
Many real world applications involve classification of multilabel data streams. However, most existing classification models mostly focused on classifying single-label data streams.
