Self-Photoluminescence of Unzipped Multi-Walled Carbon Nanotubes [PDF]

open access: yesNanomaterials, 2021
Unzipping of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) has been widely explored to obtain new nanocarbon structures with promising properties. In this work, we report that unzipping of CNTs according to the well-established modified Hummers method produces unzipped CNTs (uCNTs) that exhibit self-photoluminescence that depends on the diameter of pristine CNTs.

Framing the out-turn of melting heat transport on CNT-engine oil flow adopting Natural Decomposition Method

open access: yesPartial Differential Equations in Applied Mathematics, 2022
In this writing, we have uncovered the upshot of melting heat transformation on 2D boundary layer flow of single-walled carbon nanotube-engine oil and multi-walled carbon nanotube-engine oil through a wedge surface.

Interaction between multi-walled carbon nanotubes and propranolol [PDF]

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2020
AbstractCarbon nanotubes could accumulate in organism and have a negative impact on the structure and function of the ecosystem when they were discharged into environment. Furthermore, it will affect the migration and fate of pollutants in the water body.

Exploiting the hierarchical morphology of single-walled and multi-walled carbon nanotube films for highly hydrophobic coatings

open access: yesBeilstein Journal of Nanotechnology, 2015
Self-assembled hierarchical solid surfaces are very interesting for wetting phenomena, as observed in a variety of natural and artificial surfaces. Here, we report single-walled (SWCNT) and multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWCNT) thin films realized by a ...

Thermal conductivity and thermoelectric properties in 3D macroscopic pure carbon nanotube materials

open access: yesNanotechnology Reviews, 2021
Sintered carbon nanotube (CNT) blocks and porous CNT sponges were prepared, and their thermoelectric properties were measured. The maximum dimensionless thermoelectric figure-of-merit, ZT, at room temperature of the sintered single-walled carbon nanotube

Stability of the Photoluminescent Response on Hydroxyapatite/Multi-Walled Carbon Nanotube Composites

open access: yesPhotonics, 2023
The application of hydroxyapatite (HAp)/multi-walled carbon nanotube composites in the medical area as coatings in prosthetics has been widely used because the carbon nanotubes reinforce the mechanical properties of hydroxyapatite.

Morphology- and ion size-induced actuation of carbon nanotube architectures

open access: yesInternational Journal of Smart and Nano Materials, 2018
Future adaptive applications require lightweight and stiff materials with high active strain but low energy consumption. A suitable combination of these properties is offered by carbon nanotube-based actuators.

Crosstalk Peak Overshoot Analysis of VLSI Interconnects

open access: yesInternational Journal of Emerging Research in Engineering, Science, and Management, 2023
As technology extended from deep sub-micron technology to nanometer regimes, the conventional copper (Cu) wire will not be able to continue. Now a substitute approaches such as Carbon Nano Tube (CNT) interconnects have been suggested to ignore the ...
