Multicarrier code-division multiple access (MC-CDMA) first appeared in the literature in 1993. It combines conventional code-division multiple access (CDMA) and orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM), and has several variants that depend on how this combination is done. Although there have been a significant number of publications on MC-CDMA

AMOUR-generalized multicarrier CDMA irrespective of multipath
Seamless Interconnection for Universal Services. Global Telecommunications Conference. GLOBECOM'99. (Cat. No.99CH37042), 2003The suppression of multiuser interference (MUI) and mitigation of multipath effects constitute major challenges in the design of third-generation wireless mobile systems. Most wideband and multicarrier uplink CDMA schemes suppress MUI statistically in the presence of unknown multipath and impose restrictive and difficult to check conditions on the FIR ...

Product codes for multicarrier ds-cdma systems
Canadian Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering, 2005., 2006This paper presents a multicarrier asynchronous direct-sequence code-division multiple-access (DS-CDMA) system wherein the output of a turbo product encoder modulates multiple band-limited DS-CDMA waveforms, which are transmitted in parallel at different carrier frequencies.

Multicarrier CDMA system with cochannel interference cancellation
Proceedings of IEEE Vehicular Technology Conference (VTC), 2002In a conventional quasi-synchronous system, synchronized users, so-called in-sync users, experience less interference than do out of sync users. The authors propose a new technique to cancel the cochannel interference for an out-of-sync user in the forward link of a cellular CDMA system.

Multicarrier CDMA for ad hoc networks
IET Conference on Wireless, Mobile and Sensor Networks 2007 (CCWMSN07), 2007Ad hoc has its own requirement for the physical parameter. In this paper, we try to employ MC-CDMA to the ad hoc network to improve the performance and robustness.

LDPC Coded Multicarrier CDMA for Future Communications
2006 International Conference on Communication Technology, 2006In this paper, we describe the basic concept of LDPC and MC-CDMA, and compare the coded and uncoded MC-CDMA system. Using iterative decoding and multiuser detection, the system performance will be improved.

Performance of an adaptive multicarrier CDMA system
The 8th International Conference on Communication Systems, 2002. ICCS 2002., 2003An adaptive multicarrier CDMA system is considered. In this system, each user is given a number of codes. Each code essentially creates a different transmission channel for the corresponding user. Each user uses one of the code channels to transmit a data symbol in each symbol interval.
