Block turbo codes for multicarrier local loop transmission
Proceedings IEEE 56th Vehicular Technology Conference, 2003We investigate the performance of different block turbo codes in the context of Enhanced VDSL. We first describe the VDSL system used in our simulation link. We then propose an iterative decoding algorithm based on Pyndiah's (1998) SISO decoder for product turbo block codes that can be implemented with reasonable complexity.

Multicarrier transmission gain and group delay measurements
2019This thesis documents the Multi-Carrier Group Delay and gain measurements for OneWeb satellites with frequency translation in satellite communication. The uplink is in the Ka-band and the downlink is in the Ku-band. The transmission gain and absolute group delay measurements are implemented although the local oscillator (LO) is not accessible.

Transmit diversity in multicarrier transmission using OQAM modulation
2008 3rd International Symposium on Wireless Pervasive Computing, 2008An application of MIMO techniques to filter bank-based multicarrier modulation is presented. It is shown that the time shift of the offset QAM modulation can be exploited to introduce transmit time diversity and two schemes are described and illustrated. A performance comparison with the conventional Alamouti scheme for QAM is carried out in conclusion.
