Large-Scale Multicast Group Secure Transmission Scheme Based on Multi-Carrier FDA

open access: yesSensors, 2023
Aiming at the problem that the traditional physical layer technology cannot realize secure transmission due to the large number of users and wide dispersion in the multicast system, a layered transmission method is proposed, and a scheme for the secure ...

Photo‐Induced Phase Segregation in Mixed Halide Perovskite Structures and Various Methods of Suppression

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, Volume 13, Issue 6, 16 March 2026.
Mixed halide perovskites suffer from photo‐induced phase segregation, leading to compositional instability and degraded device performance. This review summarizes the dynamic behavior and kinetics of phase segregation in thin films under external stimuli, analyzes compositional and environmental effects, and proposes suppression strategies to enhance ...

Duplexing methods for PON systems using multimode fiber with multicarrier transmission [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
Deploying a PON using multimode fiber in the access network is viewed as a costeffective solution. However, a multimode fiber link exhibits a time-dispersive nature. To cope with this problem, an OFDM transmission method is used.

Closed‐Form Approximation of Average Error Probability With Finite‐Blocklength Coding Over Lognormal Wireless Communication Links

open access: yesIET Communications, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
This work extends the Polyanskiy‐Poor‐Verdu (PPV) framework to lognormal wireless links. Specifically, the paper derives a closed‐form approximation for the average error probability under lognormal distribution, effectively generalizing the PPV analysis beyond the additive white Gaussian noise assumption.

Waveform Impact on Wireless Power Transfer Efficiency using Low-Power Harvesting Devices

open access: yesElectrical, Control and Communication Engineering, 2019
The paper addresses the impact of peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) and spectrum of the waveform, as well as load resistance on the performance of low-power harvesting device in a real-life wireless power transfer (WPT) scenario. In the current study, a

Triple boost switched capacitor multilevel inverter (TB‐SCMLI) with reduced components and self‐voltage balance

open access: yesIET Power Electronics, Volume 19, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
The proposed TB‐SCMLI is able to provide seven levels of output voltage by balancing the voltage of two capacitors with the given control logic. The various SCMLIs are evaluated to determine the contribution of the suggested TB‐SCMLI topology's merits and downsides.

On Time-Variant Distortions in Multicarrier Transmission with Application to Frequency Offsets and Phase Noise

open access: yes, 2005
Phase noise and frequency offsets are due to their time-variant behavior one of the most limiting disturbances in practical OFDM designs and therefore intensively studied by many authors.

Review of recent trends of advancements in multilevel inverter topologies with reduced power switches and control techniques

open access: yesIET Power Electronics, Volume 19, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
Some of the topologies with a fewer number of power switches are reviewed and scrutinized. An extensive analysis of the topologies, control strategy and applications are presented here, suggesting suitable multilevel inverter solutions to the known industrial application or new research.
