A peak power reduction method for multicarrier transmission
A method to reduce the peak-to-average power ratio (PAR) of multicarrier signals has been developed. The method enlarges the quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) constellation size at tones so that several signal points represent the same information. It chooses a signal point among equivalent signal points that minimises PAR. The method achieved more

Multicarrier 16QAM transmission with diversity reception
A 96 multicarrier 16QAM transmitter and a diversity receiver for 3.072 Mbit/s data transmission are described. Pilot symbol aided (PSA) coherent detection is applied. A laboratory experiment demonstrates that an irreducible bit error rate (BER) of 10-3 can be achieved at the RMS delay spread τrms = 6.3 µs under frequency selective Rayleigh fading when ...

Multicarrier transmission using quadrature frequency/phasemodulation
Multicarrier (MC) systems using quadrature frequency and phase modulation (QFPM) schemes called MC-QFPM are described. In MC-QFPM systems, the power efficiency and resistance to delay spread can be increased for the price of reduced bandwidth efficiency. M-ary orthogonal frequency-shift-keying with M = 1, 2 and 4 are considered along with MC modulation.

Abstract In integrated energy systems (IESs), thermal energies with different characteristics and efficiencies are typically regarded as having the same thermal energy level, which leads to unreasonable assumptions regarding the thermal energy structure of the system.

A multi‐information fusion method is proposed for few‐shot modulation recognition, which involves converting I/Q signals into A/P signals and training with a combination of VGG and LSTM network models. An ensemble knowledge distillation approach is employed to streamline the network model, meeting the demands for deploying neural network models on ...
