In Vitro Live Cell Imaging Reveals Nuclear Dynamics and Role of the Cytoskeleton During Asymmetric Division of Pollen Mitosis I in Nicotiana Benthamiana

open access: yesCytoskeleton, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Pollen is a male gametophyte of angiosperms. Following meiosis, the microspore undergoes an asymmetric division called pollen mitosis I (PMI), which produces two cells of different sizes: a large vegetative cell and a small generative cell. Polarized nuclear migration and positioning during PMI are important for successful pollen development ...

Bacterial Biohybrids With Dual Magnet and Hypoxia Tropism for Ferroptosis Activation in Deep Tumor Regions

open access: yesExploration, EarlyView.
This study introduces a bacterial biohybrid (Ec@ZFOY) designed to target deep tumor regions using a combination of magnetic and hypoxia‐driven mechanisms for enhanced therapeutic delivery. By incorporating hypoxia‐targeted Escherichia coli and magnetic nanoparticles loaded with a HIF‐1α inhibitor, the biohybrid activates ferroptosis through reactive ...

Phase‐Change Assembling Nanostructures Synergistically Potentiate Tumor Radiosensitivity by Reducing the Stemness of Cancer Stem‐Like Cells

open access: yesExploration, EarlyView.
A eutectic phase‐change mixture of natural fatty acids was introduced to serve as a gating material for the near‐infrared‐triggered precise release of oxygen and nitroimidazole radiosensitizer in tumors. The stemness of cancer stem‐like cells was shown to be significantly reduced through the delivery of oxygen to deep tumors.

The hidden regulators: Non‐coding RNAs in KMT2A‐rearranged acute lymphoblastic leukemia

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cancer, EarlyView.
Abstract Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) driven by KMT2A rearrangements (KMT2A‐r) is an aggressive hematologic malignancy with poor prognosis and a high incidence in infants. While KMT2A fusion proteins drive leukemogenesis through transcriptional dysregulation, recent discoveries have highlighted the pivotal role of non‐coding RNAs (ncRNAs) in ...
