Multicentric Castleman's disease & HIV infection.
Irish medical journal, 2010We report the case of a 35 year patient from Nigeria who presented with fever and splenomegaly. The initial diagnosis was Salmonellosis. However, relapsing symptoms lead to a re-evaluation and ultimately a diagnosis of Multicentric Castleman's Disease (MCD).

Imaging in multicentric Castleman's disease.
Journal of HIV therapy, 2016Multicentric Castleman[']s disease (MCD) is an uncommon lymphoproliferative disorder that presents with fevers, anaemia and multifocal lymphadenopathy and nowadays is most commonly diagnosed in individuals infected with HIV-1. CT scan findings are not sufficiently reliable to establish a diagnosis of MCD which requires histological confirmation.
