A Generalization Method of Partitioned Activation Function for Complex Number [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2018
A method to convert real number partitioned activation function into complex number one is provided. The method has 4em variations; 1 has potential to get holomorphic activation, 2 has potential to conserve complex angle, and the last 1 guarantees interaction between real and imaginary parts.

Novel CTSA Variant Identified in a Thai Family With Late‐Infantile Galactosialidosis

open access: yesAnnals of Human Genetics, Volume 89, Issue 2-3, Page 126-131, May 2025.
ABSTRACT Galactosialidosis (GS) is a rare lysosomal storage disease (LSD) with variable onset caused by a defect in protective protein/cathepsin A (PPCA) encoded by the CTSA gene. The late‐infantile onset is characterized by developmental delay, visceromegaly, coarse facies, and cherry‐red macula.

An Empirical Investigation of Correlation between Code Complexity and Bugs [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2019
There have been many studies conducted on predicting bugs. These studies show that code complexity, such as cyclomatic complexity, correlates with the presence of bugs in code. In this paper, we intend to find the correlation between path complexity and bugs.

Evolutionary analysis of the TPP-dependent enzyme family [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
The evolutionary relationships of the thiamine pyrophosphate (TPP)-dependent family of enzymes was investigated by generation of a neighbor joining phylogenetic tree using sequences from the conserved pyrophosphate (PP) and pyrimidine (Pyr) binding ...

Lipoylation of the E2 components of the 2-oxo acid dehydrogenase multienzyme complexes of Escherichia coli.

open access: yesBiochemical Journal, 1991
The number of functional lipoyl groups in the dihydrolipoyl acetyltransferase (E2) chain of the pyruvate dehydrogenase multienzyme complex from Escherichia coli has been re-assessed by means of a combination of protein-chemical and mass-spectrometric ...

Escherichia coli 2-oxoglutarate dehydrogenase multienzyme complex: e1 and e2 substrate specificty, e1 carboligase activity, and e2 interchain succinyl transfer [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Escherichia coli (E. coli) 2-oxoglutarate dehydrogenase multienzyme complex (OGDHc) contains three components: a thiamin di phosphate (ThD P) dependent 2-oxogl utarate dehydrogenase (E1 o), a di hydrol i poylsucci nyl transferase (E2o), and a di hydrol i

Surface Foliations with Compact complex leaves are holomorphic [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2004
Let X be a compact complex surface with a real foliation. If all leaves are compact complex curves, the foliation must be holomorphic.

The dynamic organization of fungal acetyl-CoA carboxylase [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Acetyl-CoA carboxylases (ACCs) catalyse the committed step in fatty-acid biosynthesis: the ATP-dependent carboxylation of acetyl-CoA to malonyl-CoA. They are important regulatory hubs for metabolic control and relevant drug targets for the treatment of ...

Comparison of certain complexes of modules of generalized fractions and Cech complexes [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2005
We establish an explicit quasi-isomophism of complexes, which is homogeneous in graded situation, from a given Cech complex of modules of generalized fractions.
