Tool Embodiment Is Reflected in Movement Multifractal Nonlinearity
Recent advances in neuroscience have linked dynamical systems theory to cognition. The main contention is that extended cognition relies on a unitary brain-body-tool system showing the expected signatures of interaction-dominance reflected in a ...

Multifractal analysis of DNA [PDF]
This paper presents a multifractal analsyis technique for deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA). A brief overview of sequencing and multifractal measures is given along with multifractal spectrum data. Fractal characterization is shown to have high potential as a valuable tool in DNA analysis.

Bootstrap for Multifractal Analysis [PDF]
Multifractal analysis, which mainly consists in estimating scaling exponents, has become a popular tool for empirical data analysis. Although widely used in different applications, the statistical performance and the reliability of the estimation procedures are still poorly known.

Graph‐Theory Approach to Element Miscibility and Alloy Design
Graph and network theory enables pathway toward complex multiscale interactions between different elements for alloy design or interface engineering. Utilizing element's inherent properties and preferential interactivity, favorable mixed material formation, solubility and miscibility can be predicted.

ABSTRACT Fractal geometry describes complex, self‐similar patterns that repeat across spatial scales and is increasingly recognized as relevant in anatomical research. Indeed, the fractal organization is consistently observed in respiratory, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, nervous, renal, hepatic, and dermatological systems.

Forecasting Carbon Prices: A Literature Review
ABSTRACT Carbon emissions trading is utilized by a growing number of states as a significant tool for addressing greenhouse gas emissions (GHG), global warming problem and the climate crisis. Accurate forecasting of carbon prices is essential for effective policy design and investment strategies in climate change mitigation.

Liquid Phase TEM of Diffusing Emulsion Droplets
Motion of emulsion droplets was observed via in situ liquid phase transmission electron microscopy. Analysis revealed that the motion is self‐affine and influenced by multiple stochastic processes, as well as a fractal landscape created by the electron beam.
